Poly and VGF easy walk to Shades of Green for Starbucks or Alamo!

I just rented from Alamo at Shades of Green. You can easily walk there from the Polynesian or Grand Floridian. It is literally across the road from the Poly - one a paved path with a designated crosswalk. It was an easy .7 mile walk from the Grand Floridian Villas.
There was no wait. I had my car within minutes.
Super convenient
I highly recommend.

Also, be sure to re-check rates within the 2 week window. My rates dropped from $66/per day to $33/day (one way rental - drop off at FLL Airport)

Their coffee shop also serves Starbucks coffee. It was the perfect destination for a morning walk!

Wow, that sounds fun! I have always wanted to see Shades of Green, but thought maybe since it was government, you were not allowed to visit? So you can just walk right in? Is there anything to see there, gift shop?

There is a guard house on the road, but they don't stop pedestrians walking up the path. I think you would be allowed to visit regardless.

They have a gift shop that also sells milk and essential groceries on the lower level.
