Poll - Victoria and Alberts or just nice DDP places?

For ten year anniversary, already spending major bucks, should I just double up some DDP credits and get some nice dinners in (i.e. 2 dinners @ 2 TS credit), or spread out my 1 TS meals, and ante up for V&A on our last night?

I'm not about to say what you should do but V&A is many times better (as far as the food is concerned) than anything on DDP.

We love V&A and never miss it when we go to WDW. But to be honest, I'd go to a couple of 2TS restaurants and skip V&A. Why? Because most of the one TS restaurants are passable to awful these days.

2TS restaurants like Jiko and CG are terrific and make for an excellent meal.

If you really enjoy great food and wine and are already spending major bucks, what the heck, spend a bit more...go to V&A's.

I would also stick with the 2TS restaurants for part of your vacation, as someone already posted...most of the "popular" 1TS are mediocre at best.

We Went to V&A for our 10 year anniversary, now 10 years later we still talk about that dinner. I would say that it is great for a once in 10 year splurge.
There are plenty of fine 1 TS meals still out there - search these boards and you will find all of the gems.

I say splurge on V&A. We went there in October for our 10th and it was amazing. I also think that there are many 1TS restaurants that are great and that you will enjoy also.

We try to hit V&A at least once a year and there is nothing at WDW that comes close. For an anniversary, I'd definitely do V&A.

I voted to splurge. V&A is a special experience and shouldn't be missed, IMHO.

We did V & A for our 25th Ann. It was a great expierence.

If you want a meal ,service and menu that is truly memorable there is no substitute.

2TS food will be comparable to food and service of the best eateries in most towns,1TS is Chilis,Applebees,Ruby Tuesday or equivalent.

And there is nothing wrong with that,$$$ talks.We eat @diners a lot but really like the ingredients,theming and atmosphere that a great restaurant will have.
