I believe I read on another thread that they are giving out the pirate-like head scarves rather than the tropical leis. Does anyone have more info on that?

I guess if it does prove to be true I'll be a tropical pirate. Of course, what pirate isn't tropical? Hmmm... Perhaps this calls for a little research but now I wonder if there were pirates in the non-tropics!?!?

I don't know which one to choose. Being a pirate is stereotypically a tropical weather sort of occupation.

Pirate attire if you want to be a pirate.

OR

Strictly tropical attire if you want to be guests of the Pirates.


Both work for me!

If you are choosing to go as a pirate, what will you wear? I guess my husband and I can stick with the tropical wear I've already purchased and dress the kids like pirates. No matter how we dress, I know we'll all have a good time.

I don't know exactly what we're gonna wear, but it will be full on PIRATE regalia. You can dress tropical anytime, I even wear aloha to work. How often do you get the chance to dress like a pirate (outside of Halloween) and not get funny looks from everyone around you?
