Poll: Pick a resort to have Thanksgiving Dinner

The people of the poll have spoken! OKW is booked for 2025 Thanksgiving. A 12 day stay that runs from 11/23 to 12/5 (I wanted to stay long enough to see some Christmas decorations)

I would look in to packing your own knives in a checked bag if you can. You can get a knife roll and sheath them as well.

Thanks. Good tip, we should probably make a list of some extra things to bring for a dinner. We will drive, so easier to pack knives and such.

If you are driving then bring your dutch oven, stove top pan, and roasting pan with you likely as well. Even possibly some Tupperware for leftovers.

Oh and don't forget a quick read thermometer as well and possibly a leave in one as well if you cook with that.

If you're going to cook, or even reheat (as we do), you might also want to bring some aluminum foil, butter, and salt/pepper.

No mass market, frozen turkeys for us either. We want something fresh.
