Just curious what people are planning and thinking. If you are planning a trip now because of a canceled trip or ANY trip planning pease answer.
December 2021. Nothing to do with anything but the time it takes to get the money together - we put down a deposit for a villa, and a reservation (via our TA who gets a way-advanced hold on flights) for flights and car hire as soon as we returned to the UK from our December 2019 trip...

I was fortunate enough not to have anything cancelled. I was there Feb 8-15 before this thing really took off. I'm hoping for 2 trips in 2021 - January and early December. Am I delusional? It's good to know others are planning trips too. Makes me feel a little more optimistic.

March trip cancelled, rescheduled for first week of August but still a bit worried that might not happen. Backup plan is Christmas week 2020

Although I voted in the poll this is a wait and see proposition for me. I want to see a tried, tested, and proven virus vaccine that's readily available. Then, I want proven medicines to treat covid-19 as well. We all know vaccines are not 100% effective.

Then, I want to see how Disney will handle the parks. If entertainment is cut way back then I'll choose a different vacation. I like the events and street entertainment more than the rest. If they cut back the entertainment then the rides will even be more crowded than before. Also, if there is a resurgence of the virus and it occurs at the parks then I'm done. Disney's cleaning and sanitizing procedures must be the best. I know the guests are an important factor on making this work, as well. If it can't be controlled then I'm done.

The ADR’s have been a problem. I am residing myself to going with mostly QS. It is a bummer because I had all the ADR’s lined up perfectly for June. What can you do? Yes, we cannot take our kids out of school either...DD will be a senior and any school days off will need to be used for college visits since all of those were canceled this spring. If we don’t make it this August, I think it will be a couple years before we can reschedule.
I'm traveling with a party of 11 so I feel you. We had to go to a 4pm hoop de Doo instead. We completely lost our Be Our Guest, which my sister really wants to do. Hopefully things open up as people start to cancel.

First week of May trip canceled (one of DS's college graduation gifts), we have re-scheduled for last week of August. Hoping we can go then, we are DVC members, and like many others, using banked points. If we don't go, we'll lose 177 points, so trying to be optimistic. If it's still virus crazy, we won't go and we'll eat the points, I don't think we'll be able to re-schedule again for this year.

We're August 28th through September 2nd. Doing Universal the 24th through 27th. I was able to get all our dining reservations however some were earlier than I would like but we're going to do breakfast in the room so I figure a light breakfast, early lunch and early dinner (like 4 pm early). Then use snack credits in the evening. Mostly I just hope we get to go. We canceled an April/May trip that was going to be our first trip to Disney in six years.

March trip cancelled. Rescheduled for end of April, that was cancelled. Rescheduled for June 7-12. I don't foresee that actually happening. I have another reservation in early December 2020 which I am hoping will happen. But I purchased an AP for the first time on 12/15/19 when I upgraded park tickets to an AP. I live 1600 miles away from FL so appears that was a waste as I planned on going to Disney at least four times this year, but that will not be happening.

We are scheduled for first half of August. Trying to keep open mind and optimistic, but very worried about crowd levels. Our back up is June 2021. Unfortunately, this could be the second year in a row we have been forced to cancel.

We were mid-May and rebooked for end of September with FD!!! I also moved my mid-November trip to late November because of the extra days that will be added to my AP. If they stay closed until June 1st or later I will probably try for a mid-January trip. we shall see....

We cancelled an end of April trip and rebooked for June 2 so we could pick up the free dining plan. This was basically the only time we could go and if the parks aren't open then, we will have to cancel instead of reschedule. It had everything to do with what we were able to do rather than what we think is going to be open or available.

We were supposed to be there in May for 4 nights. Moved that trip to end of October. Already had one booked (since last fall) for early September.

Supposed to have gone April 8-13th.
Today it hit me hard we aren't going. I am a Type A, and today would've been the start of my packing. It is what it is, but I finally allowed myself to be sad about it.

Rescheduled for late June, but I am not certain that will happen. Only time will tell.

March trip was cut short but we were fine with just waiting for our holiday trip. Then they announced free dining so we booked a quick August weekend trip for our son before he goes back to school. Still debating thanksgiving vs. Christmas for our holiday trip though.

To those fearing your summer trips, you have every right to but, please remember, we are in the thick of things right now so that hopefully we can enjoy our summer. The next 2-4 weeks will be the worst but try to stay positive that by may we see enough of a drop off in cases that things can slowly open again. June may be rough but really hoping July and beyond are okay :smickey:

I am also really worried about crowd levels. If it’s a modified experience with high crowd levels I think I’ll have to cancel. Only time will tell! :)

I was supposed to be at the end of a trip right now, was hopeful so moved it to May (I was trying to be positive), and as of yesterday I have moved that trip to the end of August. I already have another trip scheduled for mid July for my and my husbands wedding anniversary, and a WDW/DCL trip over Christmas week, so I just had to try and pick a date. Knowing I wanted a slightly less chance of a hurricane (because at this rate this trip seems doomed lol), and am hoping I'm going right when F&W opens so I can get a festival in and the Halloween party. If things don't get better I have to move my July trip, or this changed trip, I'll move it to next year.

I know so many people who have had to cancel their trips due to job loss, and a few friends in the UK who won't be able to go this year at all now, so I'm really thinking that crowds won't be a huge as we think (I'm hoping anyway). I think it'll take a while for crowds to really recover, maybe I'm wrong, but we'll just have to see and manage expectations.
