I am posting a poll to see who will be going to MH while at Disney the week of May 24 to May 28th.

I decided that a 7 day hopper would go farther for our family.

Thanks for polling

I am not going to be at either WDW or MH, but I also had not yet seen or read anything that it was sold out or that they stopped selling tickets. I would not think anyone should chose that one option on your poll unless thay have no phone to call MS, right?

We'll be there but will not be going. Just didn't want to spend two days in a row in the parks! We like to spend most of our time at Stormalong Bay.

We'll be at BWV that week but won't be attending MH. It just didn't make sense to us because our kids are pretty much too young to enjoy the late night benefits of the event. We typically can't even keep them awake long enough to watch Illuminations.

i was told by an insider that the ticket sale was going to end april 21, wether they did or not i dont know

I voted "Just no", but mostly it was because we couldn't go to all 3 events. So maybe if they'd had the 3 events priced individually, we'd have bought tickets. However, from their standpoint, I'm not sure if pricing the tickets to allow people to attend one or two events would have been a good idea-maybe they wanted to maintain the whole "experience".

I hope DVC is doing a poll like this of their own.

We're not doing MH because of the cost.

We would have liked to participate, but on top of our AP cost, plane tickets, etc. It is just too much $.

we think the cost is too high like what was said more use from a 7 day park hopper. We are staying at SS when it oppens and leve before MH we are glad as they have sent us a letter saying due to MH we would not be able to use main pool due to it at times during MH i think this woud be during the grand oppening

Going to be "home" during MH, but, just can not justify price! WDW has too much too offer without spending more! Regardless, for those attending it should be an experience too remember!

lets break the tickets down :

tuesday : 1 day park hopper
dessert buffet
having the park from 8:30pm to midnight
wed.: 1 day park hopper
meal
having the park from 8:30 to midnight
thurs. SSR lunch

DQ or PI ticket to be used before may 31

gifts in your room when you return from the events

sercret surprises or events that they will not disclose yet

if any one would like to put a value on any of the following, please feel free to do so..........

We're going to be there, but we're not going. We already own APs and the "discount" they finally offered for AP holders was, frankly, insulting. I've been to press and after-hours events before, and while they are cool I don't think the extra expense of this is worth it. If something neat is given out, I'll have saved the $450 on tickets which should be more than enough to buy the goodies on eBay.

(wdwstar, someone on an older thread did break down the price of those events if booked separately. Search isn't working, but it's out there somewhere.)

I wasn't sure how to vote for this one -- it's a bit of "no because of the cost" and "just no."

We had originally decided not to attend the MH because we have AP's already and thought the cost to be a bit much. Now it turns out DH will be in Orlando that week for business so we're going to Disney after all but still skipping the MH.

2 adult & 2 children tickets on their way next week. :teeth:

We are very excited and so looking forward to it.

I'm glad there are people who are so excited about the event, but the poll results above are downright ugly.

Sixty percent of folks with reserved DVC rooms are not attending the event! Now I see why Member Services started steering people toward other WDW resort exchanges to get a room.

Granted this is only a small sample of the total DVC membership, but it's still a representative sample.

Looks like those of you paying for the event may end up with REALLY exclusive access to the parks. :)

I felt the price was just to high as I already have Park Pass.

If something neat is given out, I'll have saved the $450 on tickets which should be more than enough to buy the goodies on eBay.

If the aftermarket is going to be this good on our special surprises, then I could earn enough on Ebay to finance my MH ticket! So I will have attended for free! Thanks for the tip!

Now how to come to terms with parting with my surprises?:)

I am going to be at the parks but I also thought that the price was outrageous and the discount for AP holders was an insult.
I will try and get over to check out SSR but won't go to the events.
I have been to the parks so many times that going to the parks during an exclusive time doesn't mean that much to me. I have been on every ride and seen every show and will go on every ride and see every show again, no need to pay extra money for it.
And although I do collect pins,I have a feeling the surprise will be a pin or two because that is what they seem to be "giving" for every event lately) I am not going to pay that amount for any pin.
The desserts amd meals don't excite me either. Again, being a pin trader I have gone to a few events where food was part of the package. Not anything I would write home about, I can pay less money and have a great meal at Chef Mickey's with better choices. Peggie
