0....haven't been since 2010. I came back to these boards after being gone for awhile and couldn't log in with my original name, so created this name in early 2020 as we were thinking about a trip to WDW or DL. And then the world fell apart. Really not interested in WDW at all at this point, but am open to DL at some point....as part of another trip. I like the idea that there's less planning involved.

A potential issue with this poll is the question asks how many trips and not nights might slant towards people within easy distance and those with APs vs general guests. It would be interesting to see how things shift with total number of nights.

For instance if someone is a local with an AP do they count each visit as a separate trip?

Walt Disney World once in 2017. My only trip there in my 66 years. Probably won't be back. But it is a cross country trip for us.
Disneyland my first trip was in 1965, my most recent trip was in 2018 and I have no idea how many times in between. We used to go every other year and people thought we were Disney nuts because we went so often. Since I have been on the DIS I realize there are people who go multiple times a year, so we aren't as frequent visitors as others are. But it is 400 miles away, however my son, DIL and grandchildren live 50 miles away so more trips are in the future.
Funny thing is, my DIL had never lived more than 50 miles from Disneyland and NEVER went until she went with our son about 12 years ago. Oh, and she has been to WDW five times, for conventions, but has NEVER seen to the parks there.

2015 and 2022. My sister and I usually go every two years or so, but she was paying for her daughter's wedding in Jamaica when we usually would have gone in 2017. Then life got in the way and *then* there was the pandemic. We finally got back in September 2022...never again at that time of year! It was hotter than the surface of the sun and so crowded. Several times it was hot we went back to our room to rest, because we ain't spring chickens anymore who could have barreled through. We decided after we got home to hold off until 2025, at our 'usual' 2nd week of December time.

I haven't really been back in earnest since 2012. I'll be going in February but other people will be paying. I have very little interest in returning to WDW with the way the prices have skyrocketed. I'd rather go to Budapest for cheaper.

As a local, I did not count day trips. I only counted trips where I stayed overnight at least two nights. From 2014 through 2019, I did thirty trips total, then three each year in 2020 through 2022, and four this year. The trips beginning in 2020 have been shorter (4-5 nights instead of 10-11 nights) and have been at value resorts instead of mod or deluxe for the most part.
