Poll: How many of you took the day off?

Unfortunately, I cant I dearly dearly wish I could but I have math finals today Im staying logged in though.

I was very, very tempted to, but if I had (especially with short notice), I would really screw over the department I work for, as I'm the only one on my shift.

I am at home anyways but the biggest bummer is so is my hubby (he decided to work from home) and he just doesn't understand VMK.. So haven't been on as much as I had wanted too be today!

I had math finals and language arts finals today.. I would have had them earlier
but stupid tornado make up days! I might have even been able to stay up for
closing since I wouldn't have to go to school if it weren't for the tornado.

So yeah, no way of me playing hookey today (would be killed by parents even
if I didn't have finals) or staying up for closing. (would be killed by parents
for staying that late up on a school night or most likely any night)

Nope - went to work. Love VMK, but my responsibilities to my students and colleagues outweigh staying home to play, especially since school will be there tomorrow, and VMK won't.

Exactly, same for me. With the school year coming to a close, I can't just skip a day for VMK. I didn't even skip many days when I had vertigo and had to hold on to the walls to walk, sit in the chair to teach, and had to have a student write on the board for me (haha, didn't have a choice ... the ELA state tests were that week!).

I did come home, however, and sign on right away to get some more pics in the Everest room that someone gifted to me Then I proceeded to print out some flat pictures, and I already cut out too! I'm excited to think about where I can put them to take pictures so that's keeping me from thinking about VMK closing at the moment.

Today was our last full day of school. I wanted to stay home, but that would have been cruel and unusual punishment for a sub - especially in the middle school.

I went.
Thought about VMK all day long.
Then came home, played for a wile, then had to go get my hair done.
Came back at 8..and here I am.

I only need to do 360 minutes a week. If that seems like alot, there's like, 10,080 minutes in a week...
