Since this will be my first time to Disney World, I just wanted to know what everyone's all time favorite thing to do at Disney is, also if there are any suggestions for a romantic evening, I am trying to plan my hubby's birthday at Disney.
Thanks everyone!! ::MinnieMo

Alynna,

I took DW to the California Grille atop the Contemporary Resort. I told them it was for her BD, and they had us seated at a window where we had a terrific view of the fireworks over Cindy's castle. I have also thought about taking her on the carriage ride at Fort Wilderness which is done in the evening. If you like Mexican fare, you could have dinner at San Angel Inn at the Mexico pavillion in Epcot. It's inside, but you would swear that you were outside on a summer evening as you watch the river boats go by. You can also stop into Town Hall at the Magic Kingdom and ask for a BD button for your DH. You don't get anything extra for wearing it, but some castmenbers will go out of their way to make his day special. Most of them wished DW "Happy Birthday", some let her go in the front row of some attractions, and one even saw her button from the parade floats in MK, and pulled her out to dance with her. Any way you like it, I'm sure your DH will have a good time - besides, he's in the Happiest Place on Earth!

Although I would NEVER tell my husband, my best experience was riding Splash Mountain. He had to beg to go on before I would concede and I am sooo glad I did. That is one of the best rides I have ever been on. I am a bit of a ride fanatic(rollercoasters) partially because I am short and when I was young I couldn't ride anything. Also LOVED riding Space Mountain after all of these years. Last year was my first time...I made sure I rode in the front of the car. :cool1:

I love walking down Main Street 1st thing in the morning when the mist is rising from the street, where they have washed it down, and the sun coming up over Cinderella's Castle in the background. That is my absolute favorite thing. My second is standing on Hollywood Blvd waiting for Disney MGM to open and hearing "Hooray for Hollywood"--- I get chills every time. My 3rd thing to do is watch the reactions of everyone during "Illuminations" and "Wishes".

Favorite romantic thing to do. Getting a drink to go from Tambu Lounge and walking down to the Polynesian Beach, sitting in a hammock or swing and watching Wishes.
