We're planning a quickie weekend trip and would love some input on accomodations. We have a reservation at our home resort but at this time we have no desire to stay there.

We are looking at studios only. So given the choice - what would you choose and why?

We've previously stayed at Kidani and BWV. We've also been to WL but not the villas.

Thanks so much!

UPDATE 3/2 - I called yesterday but both Beach Club and BLT had no availability for our dates. We will (happily) be staying at VWL!!

Thanks again to those who voted!

If you are talking about the trip in your ticker, go with BCV.

At first I was going to vote for a BLT studio until I saw it was a standard view. The chances of getting a standard view is unlikely at the 7 month mark. So I went with the SV view Kidani. I'd ask for a villa on the 2 or 3 floor to be closer to the animals.

Its not on your list but my first choice would always be OKW - spacious rooms, lovely grounds, close to Downtown and buys service to the parks is great.

The question is what kind of activities are you planning for the weekend?

Want a relaxing weekend?
VWL: Quiet & very relaxing place to stay.
OKW & SSR: Quiet, beautiful grounds, & close to downtown.
AKV: Quiet, great if spending alot of time at AK.

Want an adult entertaining weekend?
BWV or BCV: Close to Epcot & DHS for more adult activities. Boardwalk activities and restaurants.

Plan on spending more time at MK?
BLT or VWL are both great options.

Plan on dining at restaurants at different resorts?
BLT is a great place to stay. It's an easy walk to MK bus stop and you can hop on any bus resort you want.

We like to stay at a resort based on what activities we have planned. Each resort has their own special place for us. No matter which one you choose I am sure you will enjoy it.
OKW will always be our favorite. It has my vote!

Not sure why this was moved!

Anyway, thanks to all who have voted and offered opinions - I really appreciate it! You've given me lots to think about!

Decide on the resort, according to what you plan to do. I would pick a resort you have never stayed at. Deciding what to do is half the fun.. Have a great trip.

If you are going for MNSSHP, BLT or VWL - walking of taking a ferry home at 2am vs. A bus or car FTW!

Thank you again everyone!! I like the idea of trying a new place and since BCV is winning I think I will try to switch our reservations there first when the time comes.

 DIS folks are the best!!

I voted BLT....for quick monorail access.

But eithe BLT or BCV because you haven't been there.

Short weekend trip. Close to Epcot and DHS for more adult activities.

Agree! We live in Miami and always try to book BC or BW for short trips (which is pretty often). Best access to the World and so many dining options close by.

I'll second this...plus, you'll have Stormalong Bay...
I just like this for location, less time going on buses; and relaxed atmosphere.
Epcot is our park of choice as well. Hope you're able to get what you decide on :thumbsup2
