Animal Kingdom Lodge
PamOKW was very close in terms of the source.
In essence, I found a building permit that was just issued a few weeks ago. In the permit, Disney Vacation Development, Inc. is requesting a construction company to remodel three existing areas on the 5th Floor of the Animal Kingdom Lodge to be used as "model rooms".
My logic: DVD, Inc. --> Model Rooms --> Next DVC Project

I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 100...
I'm not sure that's what the construction permit is for. I tried for MONTHS to book a single concierge room at AKL for 12/2/06 (just one night before our 12/3 cruise) and the rooms just weren't being released. Even the concierge at AKL didn't know why. In June, I was finally able to book the night I wanted in December and the person who helped me with the reservation said something about remodeling of rooms at the concierge level. They are being changed to some other fancy name besides just calling them "concierge" rooms, too. I got the impression that they didn't know exactly when the work was going to be done so they were being careful with taking concierge room reservations.TroyWDW said:Ok, sensing a bit of restlessness in the natives... A question I do have though is does DVC offer current members pre-sale prices or special incentives to add on points once the site is chosen, what is the past history with this? I have been wanting to do a small add on contract and will wait for the next offerring to purchase.
2Princes2Princesses said:ITA that it may possibly be both. I know someone said the MS CM's said we would "be surprised." Two resorts at once would be surprising. I doubt Disney has any worry about selling the CRV, just a look at these boards and they know current members would be all over that, as well as AKL.
We would snap up AKL in a heartbeat.![]()
So....the announcement......on 10/1 for the Million Dreams?? Or on the Member Cruise??
