Policy change regarding booking in advance?

Here I go again with the planning! I'm thinking about booking our room for our upcoming trip in July '07. For our first trip, I booked 2 1/2 years out. I think I read somewhere that the policy changed. Can someone confirm?

I believe that you can book now for WDW vacations through Oct or Nov of 2006 which means that you can book about 17 months in advance.

Oh, so they did change the booking policy. Previously you could book several years in advance at the current rack rate. The obsessive planner in me will be waiting on pins and needles over the next 7 or 8 months!

Disney's system will only book 500 days out. So right now you can only book into October of 2006.
