Police Dogs inside the parking garage today.

First time I've seen this. There was a bomb dog stationed in front of the escalator on the Mickey level (the level people were currently parking on), they were patrolling around as people got on the escalator. I imagine this puts to rest the worry that the security line up is a potential target. There was also another K9 team at the spot on the lower level where people come out to get to the checkpoints.

I've seen them on the esplanade before. I guess it makes sense to use them at the checkpoints now, and not wait until people get all the way to the esplanade.

Last three trips (APR/DEC/FEB) were combos where I hit DL in the afternoons and used the parking structure. I saw a dog all three times, usually down by security gate.

My point was they were inside the parking garage, not down near the checkpoints as usual. I have seen them patrolling the security lines for years, but never encountered them on the parking decks, specifically. I thought it was interesting.
