Points needed in current use year in order to book???

Our use year is Feb. We have 150 pts. right now and are going to bank them by July 31 into our 2007 use year. So, for 2007, we will have 300 points total. Therefore, when I book at the 7-month window in Nov. 2006 for our June 2007 trip, I will currently have no points in the 2006 use year.

Is this ok? Do you need points in your current use year to book for the next year?????

If you trip requires banked points to make the reservation, you'll have to bank them before you can reserve. You just have to have enough points available in the use year you are making the reservation. If you need 150 and only have 120 available at th time you will be staying, you'll have to bank or borrow to get your 120 needed.

For a June 2007 resveation, you'll use Feb 2007 points, plus any banked or borrowed.

All points usage is based on the use year of the date of stay. If your stay is in your 2007 use year, you can use 2006 banked, 2007 current and 2008 borrowed regardless of when you make the reservation.
