Got another question, but it's just outta curiosity.
On the resales, there's contracts for 50 points all the way up to 600.
How can 50 -150 point contracts exist if Disney sells the original contracts for 160 points? Why would anyone buy a contract with low annual points like that? Is that what's called an add-on?
I might as well ask this too: what are developer's points?
In short, I'm really leaning toward a resale purchase and I think I've narrowed it down to Boardwalk Villas or Saratoga Springs. But my thinking is if my "home" is Boardwalk, then I'll have that 11 month window and Saratoga Springs is big enough I ought to be able to book there at 7 months. I like those two places the best...I think.
Man, this stuff is like a mental chess game with points, resorts, and location to parks, amenities, and I know I'm gonna try to squeeze Disney rewards outta this somehow, wonder if I can write one of those checks for a month and get the reward points?
