Please note change of points.
$11 pt. if you rent 100 points or more- $12/pt if under 100.

:welcome: Please do the following before you respond.

Calculate the amount which will be due.
Example- $11/pt times 345 points = $3,795.00 plus 3% ($113.85f paying with credit card- no fee for cashier's/certified check on 2nd half of payment.

PLEASE NOTE: You may rent as few points as you need. However, any points less than 100 will be $12/pt. and I will give preference to those who want to rent the largest amount possible.

Payment terms are 50% with credit card on day of rental (execution of rental agreement and reservation secured with Member services) and other 50% with credit card plus 3% or cashier's/certified check within 7 days with no 3%added to this(approximately when written confirmation from Disney is received by me). You must let me know how you intend to pay for 2nd half when renting.

:scared:The 1st half is not refundable. :umbrella:Insurance through DVC is available.

Step 1
Decide when/where you want to stay. Be flexible about your property choice. Have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice and know properties require different points' amounts. Use Points Charts on Disney Boards to determine how many are needed.

Be aware of the maximum number of occupants for each size unit.

Be somewhat flexible with your dates if booking during summer and other busy periods. Don't expect to book for this Thanksgiving or Xmas weeks at this point. Also, be firm about wanting to rent points. If you are not sure, please don't Private Message me. I receive numerous responses and want only those serious about the process.

Step 2
Send me a private message with the following.
a. I need the complete names of all people staying and children's ages.
b. I need your address to book the reservation and a contact phone number.
c. I need your Smoking or Non-smoking preference (not guaranteed, but Disney does a great job with this).
d. I need to know whether you need to add the Dining package. Must be purchased for everyone in party staying in unit. Kids 2 and under are exempt. Dining Plan must be paid in full to Disney when you check-in.
e. Phone number to provide availability info.

Credit card is required to charge any incidentals to your room.

FYI- Disney authorizes $1,500 initially to most stays when you check-in. Once you reach or exceed that amount, they then authorize an additional $1,500.

I will then check with Member Services for your dates and availability and call you back as soon as that is done. You will need to decide quickly if there is availability and give a credit card payment when I call back to make and confirm availability again.

My family and I have been DVC since March of 1993 and have used our points on 25 or more occasions. We have never been disappointed at any of the properties where we have stayed. OKW, Vero, Hilton Head, Boardwalk, Wilderness. They each have positives and negatives and the positives outweigh the negatives about 100 to 1.

My requirements may seem bottom line, but we have spent close to $30,000 purchasing our points and pay over $1,500/year for annual dues. DVC is not a small budget proposal even when renting from a Member. You do usually pay only 65-70% of what you would normally pay cash based to Disney by renting and do not pay the 13-18% sales/occupancy tax if you rented an accomodation from Disney. So, you do save money when you view it that way.

If you are lucky enough to get the dates you want and everything goes smoothly with the process you will soon be on your way to DISNEY.
Please note: These points will only be available for a approximately 14 days after which they will be banked to the next use year.

I'm interested in renting points for a reservation the week of August 30th. About how many points are needed to make reservations at each place? Thanks.

Dave
