Hello!!!

I am a 3rd year DVC member who has both rented and transferred points to others multiple times over the last several years.

I have up to 180 points for rent. I am charging only $18 a point. The 180 points are Dec 2023 points. My home resort is the Animal Kingdom Lodge. As such, I can book a reservation at AKL up to 11 months from the date you are seeing this post or all other resorts up to 7 months from the date you are seeing this.

Payment:

A) if the reservation is for before Dec 1, 2023, payment in full when we agree to make the reservation. If I can't make the reservation, you would of course receive 100% back. I would be borrowing those points from the 23 use year and cant put them back. So the money needs to be up front and there are no refunds if a reservation is made.

B) if the reservation is for before Dec 1, 2023, 20% is due when we reach the initial agreement to rent the points. Payment is due in full after I send you a confirmed reservation. There are no refunds unless I receive the points back from DVC and they do not go into holding. I accept either Venmo, Paypal, or cashier’s check. If you would like to use Paypal or Venmo then you are responsible for covering any and all fees associated with the transaction. I will also provide a contract for the rental as well.

Obviously, it is a lot easier and my preference if you want to make a reservation after Dec 1, 2023, but I will do one for before then. However there doesnt seem to be a ton of availability.

Are you able to book at Grand Californian? Looking for a studio in Nov 2024 for 9 nights (Nov 11-20).

While I am technically able to book at Grand Cal, I cannot until 7 months out, so like in May. Also it is very difficult for a non-Grand Cal owner to be able to book there as they tend to go before the 7 month mark. You should see if there is a Grand Cal owner willing to make the reservation this December.

Thank you for replying to me! I’ve heard it is very difficult to get DVC at Grand Californian too. My fingers are crossed that I can find another owner that has points to rent so I can make the reservation in December for Nov 11-20, 2024 for a studio. Thanks again for getting back to me.

Sorry, only the 31st of Jan and Feb 1 are available, there seems to be no studio available on the property for the night of Feb 2. Those two nights would be 26 points for a regular studio, and 28 points for a preferred studio.

I also checked one bed rooms- SSR has all three nights for 85 standard/ 97 preferred, or if we did 2 nights studio and 1 night one bedroom 59 standard/ 65 preferred. Other one bedrooms available for the night of the second are AKL standard 30 points, OKW near Hospitality House 30 points and BLT Lake for 44 points. I'd be willing to do 2 reservations if that is what you need.

I checked and there is no availability for all of the days, and it doesnt even seem possible to string it together using multiple reservations. I also checked 1 bed rooms as well, and that didnt work either
