Point Transfers between members with the same resort and use year

Hello!

I have a quick technical question.

I have ready several times before that when members transfer points, you typically not see those points and use them online. BUT, if it's a transfer to a contract with the same home resort and use year, you can.

The representative I am talking to on the phone is telling me that I won't be able to see the points. Is she right? Is this a new thing? Have I been completely mistaken this whole time?

I have heard that is doesn't work that way any more. They have changed it so you cannot see the transfer in and MS will need to make the reservation for you.

When Disney IT did an update to the system about a year ago, it took one of its usual steps to "improve" your online experience by eliminating your ability to see transferred points in your account when they were for the same resort and use year.

Pretty sure they just finally got around to fixing that pesky bug that allowed transferred points to be seen online in this one instance.
