Point Transfer - Do I have the correct dates?

Hi,

If I want to do a transfer of my 2023 points (March UY) when am I able to do that?

Is March 1, 2022 the first day I can call and do the transaction?
No earlier, correct?

If you want to transfer out your points, yes, you have to wait until March 1st to do so

The December owner is in their 2021 UY. They can transfer 2021 points or 2022 points as of today. You would not need to wait until December unless you want points from their 2024 UY.

The person with the Dec UY could transfer you their 2022 points and it would count as your 2022 UY.

Those points would still follow the Dec UY rules so they would be good from Dec 1st 2022 until November 30th, 2023.

Since you are already in your 2022 UY, you can not accept their 2021 points, even though their points are good for much of 2022.

It’s all based on thing UY of the points being transferred and not where the points are landing, other then the one in or out rule.

I just did second year transferred points last fall (they actually wanted the later points) but I must have lucked out that the recipient was an early UY as it was seamless.

Any UY can accept them. They can’t use them until your March 1st of your 2023 UY anyway so it doesn’t matter what UY the receiving account is in, just the one that is giving them away.

So, as long as you are in your 2022 UY, you can send 2022 and 2023 to anyone. It would then count as that persons 2023 UY transfer.

The only piece not allowed is that you can’t accept points from a UY that is an earlier UY.

As of today, Feb UY owners can not take a transfer of 2021 points because they have entered their 2022 UY. Same with March 1st, you’d be limited to receiving 2021 UY points since you are no longer in that UY.
