point pool usage question

Hi folks, I have a question about point usage pool and where they draw from.

I had 153 points at BWV, 3 of which are banked from 2022, and I used about half that to make a reservation in July of 2023. I'll call that Reservation A. I then made another Reservation B for later in the summer using the rest of the points. I just found out that Reservation A isn't going to work so I had to cancel it. My question is, will Reservation B now use those 3 banked points up first before touching the rest of my points, or will I have to do some manual adjustment such as cancelling Reservation B and remaking it?

You have to go in and modify B to pick up those newly released banked points. It is not automatic. You can also call or chat to do it as well.

If you want to do it on your own, go into B, modify it and follow all the way to the end, not changing a thing, and book it again. Then, on that last page, once you have confirmed, you will see a points summary and it will show that the banked points were used.

No need to cancel the reservation.
