Point Cost in the Future

We are just doing some calculations to determine exactly how many points we want to purchase. We are pretty well sold on VWL however looking at the cost/point in comparison to BLT for instance amounts to a fair difference per year.

Based on history since Disney started this thing, what has the price/point done from year to year?

I have been reading some other posts about problems at BLT- is it possible that they will jack the price/point in the near future due to unforseen and early repairs?
