Does anyone have a suggestion as to a good point and shoot camera? I have the Casio EXILIM 10.1, and I am not happy with the photo quality... So many of the shots seem dark to me, and they seem even darker when I print them out on my 12 x12 scrapbook pages... It's frustrating.

I don't know any details of your particular camera, but before you purchase something new I have a few questions and a request.

First the request, could you post a couple of examples and make sure we can either get the exif data or post it.

Now the questions, what are the subjects and lighting your taking the shots in that are causeing problems? Is it all of them, or just selected times?

Are you having any other problems with your camera, anything else your not getting that you would like to be able to shoot etc?

Pictures consistently too dark?

If you are using automatic settings, increase the "exposure compensation" a little.

If you are using manual settings, open the lens (lens aperture) a little more, say, use f/8 when you might otherwise be told to use f/11.

... before you throw this camera out and go buy another one.
