Pofq Reopening

I just received a fax from Walt Disney World Travel Company that says the Port Orleans French Quarter will be reopening on May 31, 2002. the fax reads:

"Based on strong guest demand, the Walt Disney World Resort will be making guest rooms available at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter beginning May 31, 2002. All resort facilities and amenities will be open and available to guests on that date, including the river cruise to Downtown Disney.

Travel agents now can book client vacations with accommodations at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter....."

ISNT THIS GREAT, I FIGURED I'D SHARE WITH EVERYONE THIS GREAT NEWS, I HOPE EVERYONE IS AS HAPPY AS I AM.

Just changed my Movie ressies to Port Orleans French Quarter!!!! I LOVE this resort!!! My nephew remembers the pool vividly!!! I am so excited!!!!! I even got the AP rate for it!!! This has made my day!!!!

I tried to change my ressie from POR to POFQ but they couldn't apply the CIF rate so we'll stay at POR! But at least we get to go use the FQ pool - my DDs love it!

The same thing happened to me just now. I tried to switch my ressies at the CSR using the CIF code to the FQ and they said I couldn't do it at that rate. It appears however that there might be some new codes coming out so all I can do is hope. Otherwise, I'm sure I'll love CSR it's just that FQ is so quaint and more compact and of course the cute slide helps too!!

I called Disney and they could not transfer my $94 a night River Side Rate over to FQ

FQ is my favorite

Oh well
