We are DH & DW, a DS age 20 and DD age 17.

DH & DW gets one queen bed at POFQ.
DS, over 6' in height, gets the other queen bed at POFQ.
DD gets the twin areobed - Where to place it in the new rooms at POFQ ?

Or even a picture of a cot or twin areobed at CSR, since the rooms are the same size and both have queen beds.

Does anyone have a picture of how to rearrange the table & chiars to fit the twin areobed ?

Does anyone have a picture of a twin areobed placed in the new rooms at POFQ, or maybe CSR ?

Thank you for your photo expertise !

:surfweb: Anyone have any idea how to rearrange the POFQ queen bed room to fit a twin areao bed ? :surfweb:

Sorry, I don't have a picture but we used a twin air bed at CSR on our last stay. It was no problem. We just put it at the foot of the bed that was closest to the hotel door. That way it kept the opening between the two beds available if either occupant had to use the bathroom. DH and I took the bed closest to the sink and our oldest DD had the bed closest to the outside door. Our youngest DD had the air bed which she enjoyed. I had a twin sheet (purple in color so it didn't get taken off and put in mousekeepings laundry) on the air bed that I brought from home and just left it on it. Each morning we just leaned it up over by the window before we headed to the parks. We usually leave the curtains drawn while we are out so it was no big deal leaning against the window. The only thing I cant remember is if we had to move the desk chair out of the way before we put down the air mattress each night. Sorry, just can't remember. Hope this helps.

JoJoFromNY - thank you so much for the suggestion.

We are bringing our DD, age 17, her oldies but goody Princess themed sheets - we will use one of the pillows from our DS, age 20, queen beds. They sheets are still in great condition - but she out grown them.
My guess is mousekeeping will leave the bottom Princess sheet alone.
We can place the Princess top sheet in a drawer.
We will also ask for an extra blanket from mousekeeping, if there is none in the room.

She agreed at WDW - she could still use them for the twin areobed.
Besides - who looks at the sheets when your eyes are closed and a sleep :rotfl:

DH would want the curtain closed during the day too,
We are used to rooms with balconies when no one can look directly into your room. At a moderate, he will want to close the cutains for privacy.
This will be our 1st stay at a moderate :goodvibes

Now you gave me an idea....I think I will brink DD's old "Ariel" sheets for the aerobed that we will use again next Easter. We will be staying at CSR again. Just wondering how come you chose PO for your next stay? I think about that resort sometimes as well, but my family wants to go back to CSR because of their waterslide at the pool and the Pepper Market (the QS restaurant on site). I see you've stayed at the dolphin in the past....can you tell me if you liked it there (the pool, restaurants, location, etc.)

CSR was a choice of ours - but POFQ is less spread out - ou reasons for POFQ.
We do not use the pool alot at WDW. We have a pool to home to use in the summer months.

So - if we get building 4 (no extra charge) we will be 20 feet away from the bus stop and 20 feet away from the food court.

At CSR - if we end up in the Rancho's we will be far from the food Court.
The Cabana building mayeb 40 feet from the Food Court costs extra, so it is not worth it.

I also read the buses are good at both resorts, POFQ & CSR.

Want to convince me to stay at CSR ?

Sorry I missed your DOLPHIN questions - see you've stayed at the dolphin in the past....can you tell me if you liked it there (the pool, restaurants, location, etc.)

DOLPHIN is our all time favorite - but DH needs to reach Spring 2012 for us to get a teacher rate. He is an adjunt professor at a local college. Teaches on classs after work.

BEST pool - other than YC/BC SAB. There are many pools at the S/D, but the Grotto pool is large, has a water silde which twists through 'rocks', a volley ball net on one side of the pool, a water fall you can sit under.....

You can walk to EPCOT in 15 minutes. You can boat to EPCOT or DHS.
Buses go to MK, AK & DTD. They are pretty good. 1st stop is the SWAN, but we have always found a seat at the Dolphin bus stop.

Taxi's are always in front of the Dolphin to take you to an early ADR TS ro where ever (for a fee)

Rooms open to a hallway and are 360 sq feet. The pillow are so fluffy, and the beds are 'heavenly', so comfy.

Most rooms - have great views - Standard view is not the best - maybe a roof top or parking lot.

See the S/D thread for lots of other pros.

No...I'm not gonna try to convince you to stay at CSR although my family sure does love it. It feels as if we are in Mexico or something during our stay there. I think about the Dolphin (or the Swan) for the future for DH and me. It sure does sound nice from your description. As for now, we can't give up on the dining plan. Feel it's a great deal when vacationing in WDW. We're gonna check out POR/FQ during our next stay as well as AKL. Heck, we may even stop by the Dolphin as well. They're all great resorts aren't they?!

Wish I could help! I would google disney resort floorplans for more ideas!

:yay:Thanks for this thread. This is exactly what we plan to do in November. My kids and I (DS 15; DD 11) will be at CSR and DD does not want to sleep with her Mom. We will bring our twin aerobed and it's nice to know it will fit! This will be our first stay at CSR; we can't wait!
