I have ressie for POFQ for late July of this year (made before the rehab was annouced). I was just curious if anyone else had ressies for POFQ and Disney moved you to another hotel, where did they place you?

Thanks!

Have they called you? You might want to call and ask if you will be relocated- they may not be to the July ressies yet, but I'd be interested to hear what they say- rumor has it the resort might be opened late spring or summer (my fingers are crossed!). Either way, it never hurts to get the ball rolling a little!
Anyway, back to the question. We had reservations for Thanksgiving week and were moved to AKL savannah view for $140 something a night. Wonderful deal! The offered us Yacht Club, AKL, or Boardwalk.
Good luck!

I had a discounted rate at POFQ of $79 per night. They announced the rehab 4 or 5 weeks before our trip. We could have gone to another moderate for the same price but my travel agent advised me to wait that an upgrade would probably be offered and it was. There were several options, we took the best resort we could get into for only $30 more per night. We went to the YC for $109 per night. We tried to get Poly but we had three rooms and they didn't have availability. We loved the YC, large rooms and fantastic location. Just hope we didn't get spoiled, deluxe prices are usually way out of our league, but we did enjoy the experience.

Thanks for the info! My TA called in November last year, and was told that they had not made it to the 2004 ressies yet. They told her that at that time we could switch to any other moderate. I really do not want to go to any of the other moderates (I like the "smallness" of POFQ)... So was hoping that if I can't get POFQ we would maybe be able to stay at a deluxe resort... so I am glad to hear your options. Did they offer a good rate at the Poly? Our boys (and us )would love to stay there!

We had booked POFQ for this past October and were offered the Poly for $124/night. We needed 2 rooms though and they only had 1 room available for 2 nights of our stay so we chose AKL savannah view instead and that was $104/night. Also, we were offered WL for $94/night and BWI/YC/BC for $118/night. I had always wanted to try WL, but for the price of AKL savannah view we couldn't pass it up--last time we stayed there it was between CHristmas and New Year's so our rate was $400/night!!! (All of those prices were pretax by the way.)

We were moved to the BC in May 2003 due to POFQ closing. It was $30 more than POFQ - $119/night. It was great!! They offered a moderate but we held out for a deluxe.

We were relocated last May too. They offered us WL or AKL for $10 more a night and standard view was all they had available for our 3 rooms even though we had water view booked at POFQ. We chose AKL and just fell in love with it. We didn't get any kind of upgrade but the standard view wasn't that bad actually. We're going to book pool view next trip though.

We moved to the WL woods view for $10 more/night. We were upgraded to court yard view at check in!

We had a water view at POFQ last July. We were offered the Poly for $16.00 more a night. Needless to say, we jumped on it. I think we ended up paying something like $166.00 a night at the Poly for garden view. Had a greattime!!!

We relocated from Port Orleans French Quarter last September and chose The Polynesian for $133 a night, garden view. It was spectacular and what a great rate! We could have had AKL or WL for $109. Good luck on your relocation. BTW, the Poly was fabulous.......a real dream vacation.
