Podcast hiatus - what are you listening to?

With the holiday hiatus this week and in December, what other podcasts are you guys downloading?

My personal fave is Pheidippidations, a running podcast.

Oh, no! I didn't know there was a holiday hiatus.

Guess that means I have DIS podcasts to catch up on!

I am giving Inner Mouse a try. Comes from JL Knopp of Disney Driven Life.

In addition to the DIS Unplugged I listen to the WDW Radio Show with Lou Mongello, WDW News Today Podcast with Tom Corless and WDW Today with Matt Hochberg. I need my Disney fix!

I only listen to two other Disney Podcasts. MouseGuest and Laughing Place. Laughing Place is very sporadic, not weekly, sometimes not even monthly, but when they do put a show up, I like them because they talk about everything Disney, not just travel. Then I like MouseGuest because they are pretty laid back, just sitting around chatting.

The DIS is the only Disney podcast I listen too. The other two I listen to when there is no Pete, John, Kevin, and the rest of the gang is totally off topic. I listen to Darkness Radio and also Ghost Chronicles for my total paranormal fix.

Listening to other podcasts is like cheating on Pete, Walter, Teresa and Wayne. I don't see how anybody could do that, especially after all the knowledge the Disboards have given you.

I know that Pete and the gang are too modest to say this, but they are the only people worth listening to. One time I toyed with the notion of listening to another podcast but after 20 seconds i couldnt believe those bozos. they were not like our guys!

The DIS is my drug, um I mean podcast of choice however, when you need a Disney fix...sometimes the other stuff will do.

These are the podcasts that I have on my ipod, but for the last three months or so, I've gone back to the beginning to catch up on old DIS Unplugged shows. The other ones are piling up on me, but until run out of Pete and the gang, I probably won't start listening to them again.

I've been listening to Lou mongello. But he's so peppy and radio like. I've never heard him say a negative thing about wdw. I've also got a couple of Wed way radios in my iPod too

The Dis is my first choice, of course, but I also listen to Inside the Magic, WDW Radio, and WDW Today. I have a long commute to work every day, so my podcasts get me through that long, long drive!

I also listen to Phedippidations and have for years. I have never met anyone else who "runs" with Steve. It is my "other" favorite. I also keep Rick Steves (travel) and the Fredcast (cycling) on my ipod.

Instead of betraying Pete, Walter, Wayne and Teresa Echoes etc., by listening to other shows, you should re-visit some of the old podcasts.

Some shows take more than one listen to fully digest. Upon repeated listening, you will pick up on subtle things that you may have missed the first time.

Some shows are worth memorizing, like the one about the Food and Wine Festival. I like to make annotations so that i can reference them later on.

I enjoy listening to Inside The Magic. Ricky Brigante's show is more like a radio show, but it is well produced.

I listen to my Ipod over 40 hours each week (usually more)! There is plenty of room in my life for lots of podcasts! I certainly don't feel like I am cheating on anyone...

I think that the gang would want all of us to take this opportunity to broaden our horizons! We should all embrace some diversity.
