Podcast 4.0 Fantasy 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise 12/8/2012

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately we will need to bow out of this cruise. Parents have picked Dec 8th for their 50th anniv wedding renewal. Don't think it would look good to miss that.

But we did move our dummy DCL booking to the 15th of Dec on the Fantasy. So we are doing the cruise first and Christmas week in the parks.

Hope everyone has a great cruise. We will be boarding as you are disembarking.

Oh Chuck..so sorry to hear you will be missing the cruise..but it is for a good reason....have a wonderful time !!!

Hi all...just checking in. I haven't been too active on this (or most other threads) recently...I go thru periods of time where I just don't make it to the DIS too much...guess that it's just one of those low times for me. We're still looking forward to the cruise and meeting everyone. Hope everyone is having a great summer so far. DW & I are...we just picked up our AP's weekend before last and went to the parks the past two Sundays. It's nice going back after a while of not being there. It really makes you appreciate it more.

We have been enjoying the waterparks this summer - got the Florida Resident "Waterparks after 2pm" passes and having lots of fun with those!!! After going to Typhoon Lagoon three times and Blizzard Beach once, they are already paid for, and are good until June 20, 2012!!!

Very excited to join the thread! My name is Shannon and I just booked our Disney Cruise for the Dec 8th Sailing on the Fantasy!

I'm a single mom, and this is my son and my 4th Disney Cruise. We started sailing when Aidan was 4, and celebrated his 5th birthday oboard the Disney Magic. He will be 13 when we set sail for this Fantasy cruise... time sure does fly by

We look very forward to discovering all the "new" that the fantasy will offer. Meeting new friends and creating new memories.

Congrats to everyone else who has booked as well... let the fun begin!

The podcast part refers to the DIS Unplugged podcast. This will be the 4th podcast cruise organized by the DIS. There are special events and speakers set up by the DIS. The only caveat is that you must book through Dreams Unlimited to participate in the Podcast extras.

Hmmm...Interesting. I wonder if I can transfer to a TA at DU? I used a dummy booking I had made on the TA last month. I don't want to lose my OBC or discount...

What kind of special events do they have? Is it kid oriented, or more for adults? We will have my 2 kids, then aged 5 and 8, with us. They loved our first DCL cruise so much they want to do another, but this time they wanted a virtual porthole room like what they saw on the DCL vacation DVD. I am not looking forward to an inside room myself, but if it makes them happy!
