Podcast 4.0 Fantasy 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise 12/8/2012

DD's got the cough and runny nose on board but no fevers, but what do you expect when all of those people are sharing the same air. We had an amazing time, and loved every minute of it! Also felt the extreme rocking on the last night (DW & DD's slept through it)

Exactly what we experienced on board 24 hour fever and the cough still continues.

Oh his fevers didn't start until Sunday & they are lasting longer than 24 hours. The chills and fatigue are bringing him down for sure. Definitely the flu. Thank goodness he works from home!!!

We went to the Aladdin matinee too and liked the genie from our June cruise show much better! DH & I made several comments about how the shows were using "understudies" on this cruise.

I thought the Genie on this cruise was great!! I can't believe that someone else posted this was his first cruise??? So I guess they rehearse on land before they even get on the ship?

I had "laryngitis" on the cruise, but I thought it was from yelling at my kids to stop running around the ship! :rotfl: I didn't have a sore throat though, and a little cough, but that is not unusual for me because I have asthma/allergies.

Yes. They rehearse for a while on land. I believe in Toronto.

I didn't say he wasn't good. In comparison to our June cruise, he seemed like the understudy fill-in. Just my opinion.

The carpet on the recording in the room was amazing! We had thought Jafar in the recording was our live genie...they looked so much alike, but maybe we are wrong.

I've only gotten sick on non disney(Royal Caribbean), got noro and have never been so sick in my life! Our ship even hit the news circuts, blah. Disney ships are much better with the hand cleaning.

Interesting. I was fine on Carnival and NCL. I do think Disney is good about telling you to clean your hands but the buffets are a free-for-all and you never know what fellow passengers do.

Back home last night. Did WDW with DS care-giver post-cruise.

I had a great time on cruise.

I didn't notice any rocking, at least none that was out of the norm. Guess I've been on too many cruises to notice a little rocking and rolling.

Hello Everyone! We are new! Our cruise is just a week away. We are getting married on 12/12/12 and I was wondering if anyone else is getting married or will be on their honeymoon? We have a self-uniting marriage license and will be celebrating quietly by ourselves since this is a second marriage for us both. We would love to meet others and welcome any suggestions. I am trying to find door decorations for our life changing event. We have 5 kids and a Granddaughter between us who are all jealous, but we will bring them with us the next time! This is my 5th DCL cruise and the 2nd one for my DH 2 B.

Congratulations!!! We were just a few doors down in room 6622 and everytime we passed by we always stopped to read the messages on the white board. I got to write on it twice ::yes:: signed it as palmickey2005 ;)

I loved all the decorations you had. We had 3 circular "Disney Cars" magnets on our door and my husband placed 2 of the magnets around the number sign to make Mickey ears...but next time I will bring more.

Congratulations again to both of you! All the best!!
