Hi everyone,

This will be our first cruise! We're on this trip thanks to Children's Wish foundation. We were originally going to set sail October 27th but my Wish Child Nicole broke her ankle this past week and will be in a cast until the 27thish. Luckily Children's wish being an awesome organization was able to change us up.

Can't wait to set sail and meet everyone!

The people who run this site and Dreams Unlimited Travel have a weekly podcast about Disney. You can read more about it here, as well as listen to their podcasts (which are really good): DIS Unplugged Podcasts. They have sponsored various get-togethers, including the Podcast Cruises. This is the fourth one, and several people have gone to all or some of them. Many others are going for the first time.

To participate in the podcast events, you need to book your cruise through Dreams Unlimited Travel. In addition to the podcast events, there will be several unofficial meets, and everyone is welcome to join those.

This is a wonderful way to meet people, especially since the folks who go on these cruises are super friendly. Post 3 of this thread has links to other discussions that have been created with events happening. Feel free to ask us any questions. Someone is sure to answer.

FYI- I was able to book Remy brunch ressies online today. I was checking for Palo brunch openings, but there were many Remy openings! This wasn't there at the 90 day mark. FYI - get yours now before they fill up!

DW and I have not confirmed our information yet. We have to wait a few days because of a foot issue my wife is having. If she does not get the OK from the doctor today, we might be postponing this cruise to next December.
