Is the Pocahontas meet & greet in Animal Kingdom indoors or outdoors? I know it's at the Discovery Landing location, but I can't find info on whether it's in or outdoors. Thanks!

The Discovery Island Boat Landing is outdoors, but it has a roof.

I met Pocahontas on our trip there about a month ago. It may have changed, but when I was there, you had to walk up the exit of the Bug's Life movie, sort of around the Tree of Life. Actually, it was right in front of the porcupine exhibit.

Line up early!!! The line had reached capacity before she even came out.

yes, it used to be Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore then it changed to Donald and Daisy now Pocahontas

Thanks! That's kind of a hidden spot. When we met Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore there a few years ago we only had to wait in a line of about 5 people. We skipped Pocahontas on that trip since our girls didn't know who she was and the line was kind of long (in Camp Minnie Mickey), but now she's one of their favorites so we won't be able to skip it this time.

Has anyone seen Pocohontas lately at Rafiki's Planet Watch, or has she stopped visiting there? That's where we have always met her...along with Rafiki and Jimeny Cricket.

this is where I met her in Nov....

1. Has anyone seen Pocohontas lately at Rafiki's Planet Watch, or

2. has she stopped visiting there? That's where we have always met her...along with

3. Rafiki and

4. Jimeny Cricket.

1. Nope.
2. Stopped.
3. Still at Planet Watch
4. Jiminy Cricket no longer makes regular M&G appearances.

This might clear things up

Pocahontas used to meet at Rafiki's planet watch and Camp MM

she moved over to one of the trails around the tree - specifically the one near the Lady Bug care center. When it rained Rafiki's was her rain spot.

Recently (not sure how recently exactly) she moved to her 'new' spot on the boat dock.

When we met her the day before thanksgiving it was on the trail and the CM with her said that was her regulat non rain spot... Not sure if she moved to the dock in December but she was on the trail as of 26 nov.

Is there anywhere else to meet Pocahontas in wdw? If I get on line around 10:45, how long is it usually? Just wondering bc someone said to line up before she shows at 10 but I can't bc of a reservation. Didn't want to waste too much time in AK bc want to hop to MK

no she only meets in AK. Assuming she stays at the boat dock you shouldn't have too long of a line (IMO and depending on when your trip is). That location tends to be more hidden.

We are going to Disney the first week of March and when I check the Disney site it shows there are no times for Pocahontas. Does this mean she will not be doing meet and greets?

I guess they move her around a lot. In September she was near Tree of Life, but right by the Galapagos turtle. With the walls up for construction at that time, it was definitely hard to find - we had to ask several CMs to direct us.

I do recommend getting there early. We were second in line about 30 minutes prior to her M&G time, and by the time she got there - the line was over 20 deep. (And we were there on a pretty slow day).
