But I haven't been here in a while. We'll be going to POR in April - just booked - is it true that all rooms now have coffee maker and refridgerator? That would be awesome!! I love this resort and haven't stayed in a while due to good rates at the Dolphin which is our new favorite, but am excited to stay at POR once again. I've also heard that there have been some upgrades to the pool area. Tell me about it...thanks!

We were there at the end of last month and I think that the refrigerators are only in the newly renovated rooms. We stayed in the Alligator Bayou, bldg. 24 and they didn't have the friges. They did, however, have the coffee makers. Make sure you ask for the renovated rooms.

We were there the first week of Feb. and were in building 27.We had both in our room.Had a blast.The main pool is great.Nice slide for the kids.

we stayed in Alligator Bayou, bldg. 24 in October and it had been refurbished then (new bedspread and curtains etc), the fridge wasn't in the fancy cabinet, but we called housekeeping and they brought us one up for free.

was in building 27 from 2/6 - 2/10 and the room was renovated and the fridge was in a fancy cabinet and a coffee maker was in the room. Also I heard that if there is no fridge in the room, you are to call housekeeping and they will bring one up free. According to someone on here they all do have the fridges in the rooms whether or not the rooms have been redone or not

We stayed in Bldg 18 AB in September. Our room was not renovated yet. We had a coffe maker and we called beforehand to request a fridge. It was brought up to the room when we got there. We were not charged for it like some other people have been. Maybe we lucked out?

I believe all of the mansion renovations were completed last year, and they are almost done the AB section. As of this year, refrigerators are furnished free at all the moderates, including POR. Warning, however, these refrigerators are not very big. Really not good for much more than drinks!
If there is not one in your room when you arrive, just call guest services and they will bring one up.

They have a nice playground behind the pools at Ole Man Island (the main pool) and quite a large arcade for kids/and or adults!! Does anyone know if building 14 has been renovated?

Just returned from POR, we were in the Mansions and there was a small coffe maker, coffee, iron, ironing board and refrig. I thought POR was great I will stay there again! The pools were great and I could hardly get the kids (3 & 5) to leave the playground. Bring your walking legs, it seamed like everything was a long walk.

yes, and for some reason they are not in there just call housekeeping and they will bring them to you!

They supply the coffee (little filter packs), and they are 4 cups.

Yes they have ironing boards/irons. Have a great time!

We were there Thanksgiving week. We had a coffee maker and they brought us a free refrigerator. When we called last week to book for next Thanksgiving at POR-Alligator Bayou the CM said they were now in all rooms.
