Bbgrizzle said:T&B, I"m LDS too, and I have a great aunt and uncle who have 14 kids!! I think that is ridiculous. There is no way you could ever give those kids enough one on one attention The older kids end up raising the younger ones. We had 5 kids in my family, and I felt like THAT was a lot.

I know that he will be totally crushed if he is, but I so respect that he's thinking through the decision to have kids. Very sad situation.
Fourteen kids is a lot! My great aunt and uncle had 16 (not LDS) and all lived to be adults, but that was a long time ago before b/c.
My niece's husband does NOTHING to help around the house, either. The kids are pretty much expected to run the household, with the kids working into the work rotation at 5yo.
