Don't worry, Kate, your time is coming. Before you know it, he'll be a teenager, and you'll have one opportunity after another to embarrass him waaaaay more than he ever embarrassed you!

Oh I know and don't think for a minute that I'm not keeping score :rotfl: . I'm sorry that you're so stressed about the dorm decision, I know that no matter what ya'll decide it will be for the best.

Besides dreading medical appointments, I'm also a procrastinator in making appointments and I also hate making phone calls in general, so a triple whammy. If I could schedule online I would be better off. I really don't have a lot of hang-ups, but this is one.

Actually it would be better if Dr's office's could call us and set up the appointments. :thumbsup2

I understand, maybe if they offered treats during the appointment it would make it more enjoyable. Something like here's a Hershey Bar, now spread em' kind of deal. Seriously though make the appointment, consider it a girls day out.

I'm ok, just sore... hard to sit, more than anything. So, I've been walking a lot! My Dr. is pretty convinced that all will be fine! I've had cells on my cervix that were abnormal since I got pregnant with Noah. They didn't do any testing while pregnant, of course... but they started within a month or so of me having him. They have removed the bad cells several times and tested, retested.... and I had a good 2 years with a good pap smear, so I thought all was good. The Dr. said as long as it stays clear I'm in the "clear", unless... X... happens. Well... I found ...X... about a month ago. Scared me to death... went for testing, it was ok but not great and he did a biopsy, that was negative on one sample but he still wanted to remove all the other cells and lumps. That process has been going on for the last month and today was the second procedure but he thinks he got everything this time! :dance3:

Thanks to everyone for the warm wishes. It truly means the world to me that this is such a warm place to hang out. :grouphug:

I'm sorry that I missed this, I'm a little self absorbed today. I hope that all is alright for you and know that I'm thinking about you.

:rotfl2: Maybe a foot massage would lure me there.

Aaaaah, it's not that bad - I'm just a whiner, I guess. That's probably the biggest thing on our list of things to do/decide about in the next 3 weeks before our big trip, but my real trouble is that it has so many list-mates! :rotfl2:

BTW, Kimmielee, add me to the list of people who are wishing you well and praying for you.

Oh my Shug, your hubby and my family MUST be related. My Dad and Brothers will pick up anything from the side of the road. My uncle, used to stop at all discarded refridgerators and take out the LIGHT BULB!!!!

There is a new show you must get your hubby to watch (forgive me if anyone posted already, I'm not up to speed...) it's on HGTV and it's called JUNK BROTHERS. They literally go find stuff on the side of the road, fix it up and return it to the original owner all shiny and new! It looks like a good show, right up his alley! :thumbsup2

Never heard of it but Dh would love it! I'm almost afraid to let him watch it!

Don't paint the hutch, Shug! It's pretty just like it is.

Kimmielie, :grouphug: to you.

T&B, that's terrible about the bleachers and that poor mom!

Hi to everyone

Just do it. Tomorrow morning I expect to be told when your appt is. :thumbsup2

T& B I'll be looking for that appointment to my dear.... Nothing to take for granted! Sounds like cancerous cells on the cervix are pretty common, but it IS scary so don't take chances!!!

Luv... I have to go every two weeks for the next month, then once a month, then....... better safe than sorry!

Oh, my, I'm going to take the easy way out and not even try to catch up on so many posts!!! I hope everyone is doing well and had a great weekend! :sunny:

My boys finally came home yesterday and Chris and I have been running around, going out to lunch and catching up. :) He brought a 1st place trophy home from basketball camp, which I believe was his highlight of the trip. He also brought home a picture of Derek Jeter that was taken from about six feet away when they went to a Yankees' game. That, I believe, was my highlight of the trip.

If I'm not around for the next few days, it's just because I've missed my boy and we're doing some Mom/son stuff together--however, I'm sure he'll tire of me soon enough and I'll be back chatting with you all in no time.

Have a great week, everybody!!! :wave2:

Hey LiteBrite & teva! :sunny:

Hey guys, look what I found. A smilie for Mama Becky.

:) :) :)

Each one of these characters from POTC2 are held into their packaging with 5... FIVE wire twisty thingys... these things are less than 6 inches tall!

What in the world did they go through in shipping to ever demand so many of the wire twisty thingys that PI$$ me off! :furious:

Yeah, I caved... I gave them to him tonight! :rolleyes1

Ugh, I went through the same thing a few years ago and it was scary. Everyone tells you not to be scared and that cervical cancer is easy to treat, but it's still scary. I hope your doc got everything this time :grouphug:
