PMS in a Handbasket--Don't be afraid, just bring us food... Part 23

I've survived night one...everyone is bedded down in various rooms around the house and no one is dead (yet)....so a good first day with mom.

Teva...that sucks about the cold. The quarter thing is toooo funny!

Paige, another option is to go to the breakfast table and lay out the FANTASTIC day you have planned for the family. You're going to eat breakfast early because then the family is going to go and serve breakfast at the local homeless shelter. After that, a visiting professor is giving a special talk on the mating habits of Kangaroos and it's applications in the physical sciences, which you thought the whole family would enjoy. Of course you'll all be so bonded at that point, you would just HAVE to do a family ceramics course where you learn how to exactly paint the red bellied wooded flipperwhil..you can't wait. Then you've packed a special herbal organic veggitarian picnic for the whole famiy to enjoy after the hike up the mountain to the most BEAUTIFUL bluff. After lunch, you are going to reclaim a dying stream by walking it's five mile banks looking for any trash and cleaning it up. Once you finish that, you will be using the trash to create macreme art projects that can be auctioned to support harvest for the hungry...you will also be fasting instead of eating dinner and contributing those funds to the cause. Following what would have been dinner, you will be leading a reading of the Illiad for underprivilaged youth.

If they don't run screaming from the room, I'm guessing they'll sneak out the back door and you get to lay in bed and eat bon bons while you Dis...

Hi all! Hope everyone is well and had a wonderful Christmas. I had a stomach virus that kicked my *** for almost a week. It was nasty. Not to mention disgusting.

I got an Ipod for Christmas and last night my son gave me lessons on how to use it. I think he hates me.
I'm sorry you were so sick.

Funny about the iPod and even funnier about the quarters. :rotfl:

Home from errands. We did make it to Columbia, Merle. Nice Costco. :thumbsup2 Went next door to Best Buy so Jake could buy the Wii game. And no, it's not literally next door (that's what Jake asked me  ).

Now I'm supposed to go downstairs and watch them play Wii.

Came home, then went back out again. Went with my Aunt, her DS, his GF, his grandaughter and her friend to see the Symphony of Lights, then out for ice cream.

Oat meal and rolls for dinner. Nothing else sounded good. :confused3

Hi Robin. How's it going there? Still have an extra child?

Nope. I'm down to two, actually. Well, plus my dh, so I guess it would be three.

DH is watching his Simsons Movie that I gave him for Christmas (translate: snoring loudly on the couch, but every time I try to get him to go to bed he protests that he wants to finish watching the movie. ).

How are you?

Glad you're down a couple kids. :rotfl: about DH. I'm doing ok Robin.

quick :moped: through -- I kept getting woke up, came here for a few, I really need to try to get back to bed, 5 will be here soon

ttyl :wave2:
