OK, threep, YES, they glue it at the hospital, but not with store bought superglue, so DO NOT do that!!!
At the joint, they will most likely not stitch it. I did that to my knee once and it just healed up, nasty scar, but it did heal up. Be careful though if you don't go to the ER. Perhaps call your Dr. and ask them about it. Maybe they can do something in the office.
I know it's not real superglue in the hospital.

I think you're right about no stitches. I cleaned it well, and I figure it will heal eventually.
