Why the heck am I wrapping presents and playing on the computer when I will be in Disney in less than 48 hours AND I HAVEN'T STARTING PACKING YET?????:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared:

My boss nevers packs until a couple hours before she is to leave for the airport. :scared: Me, I start a month ahead! :rolleyes1

Have I asked you my question on this?
OK, I love clothes, but I just don't have that many. If I packed a month in advance I'd not have anything to wear in real life. Plus the wrinkles! OK, I guess if I were going right now, I could pack my shorts a month in advance (or for that matter, when I go in April I can pack my shorts a month in advance...and my tank tops and swimsuits...). Is this what you do? Pack your summery clothes?:confused3

Well, there are piles of clothes everywhere, but I get the heebie jeebies when I try to decide what should go in the suitcase and what should stay home :scared:

I'm avoiding it by ironing DH's work clothes :laundy: :sad2:

Threep...Congrats on your sister!!!!!!!!:wizard:

We really must decide on a date..I think the 21st/22nd was mentioned. Can you tell that I have planning issues?:rolleyes1

Hello everyone!!!!!!:dance3:

I sent Auntie IM a couple recent pics of DH and me so she know who to look for. :cool2: pirate:
I don't know what your husband looks like, but you are be-a-u-tiful! :thumbsup2

That's my problem, too. I'm happy if I get my toiletries packed in advance, all laundry done, and then pack my clothes the day before. As some of you have heard, I do have a detailed packing list on the computer that I customize for each trip, which helps me a lot. Yes, I used to be somewhat organized. :rotfl: It will be a little harder planning for the next trip since I plan to surprise Jake (and he's the suspicious type just like his mommy).

I have my exchange gifts bought, but I do need to wrap them and get them ready to mail. Mailing things is always a challenge for me, but I need to just do it. I have other packages to get mailed, too, but might not wait for everything before I go to the post office.

I had physical therapy today, which I was not looking forward to. They put heat on my back before starting, though, and I almost fell asleep. Now I have to get some things done around the house. Doesn't look like a lot of cleaning was done when I was gone, but I really can't complain since I didn't exactly leave the house in wonderful shape. I gave myself the weekend off from cleaning, but it's time to get back to it. Lunch first, though.

Im, you crack me up with your ironing. I hope you don't think I'm a total doofus when we meet and you see my wrinkled clothes. :) Hey, are you coming down here in January?

Hi Pixie and Tiffer. And everyone else, for that matter.

I couldn't figure out why I was so blue today, besides the gloomy weather and returning from WDW. I was ready to come home since I missed my kids a lot, but you all know how hard it is to get back into the routine. I just dawned on me that reading the "Who would spend "One More Day" with?" thread made me really miss my dad. Crazy to get sad after so many years, but I guess that's the way it works with emotions like that.

 I got about halfway through the first page of that thread before I was bawling my eyes out. I had to walk away and vow to not open it again. My dad has been gone for 23 years, and I still miss him.

One thing that I do, is under bathroom sink(counter/cabinet)I keep a box there. When I find things I need for travel I put everything in that box. That way at last minute I am not running all over the place. I did buy small plastic bottles that were reusable for my shampoo/cond etc, and wash them out well when I get home. That alone saves some money. Those travel sizes can be costly.

Oh, the One More Day thread is a tear-jerker.:guilty: And I've been very lucky not to lose many relatives (Grandpa and Great-Grandmas are the only ones) I really don't know who I'd pick. I'd have to pick a friend I think.
The ones who have lost kids on there are the ones that make me sob.:sad1:

  Me too! I miss them so much!

I have read the one more day thread :sad1: :sad1: both of my parents are still living, I almost lost my mother 9 yrs ago, and that was a rough time in my life.

It would be hard to say who :sad1:

No shopping day for me. :sad1:

A faculty meeting has been called, and all time off recalled. A safety issue they say. It better be something big.

I'll go for it tomorrow. :sad2:

My migraine came back at lunch. Now I'm stressing and my neck is starting to bug me too.

Got to find my jolly. Did you see it come through here?

It was the kid stories I was trying to avoid when I stopped reading the thread. I can't bear the thought that it could be me, wishing for one more day with one of my own children.

Now I'm crying again. I hate that.

I guess it's a good reminder to be thankful for the people we still have in our lives. :grouphug:
