Morning. Slept in this morning and could easily have slept longer. I've been exhausted lately, totally exhausted.
No big plans here today except to get my house looking a little better. It's kinda discombobulated.

I want a kitten! People keep posting their new Christmas fur baby pictures. The dogs are cute, but I KNOW how much trouble they are in for! But the kittens pics make me crazy. I've been wanting one for months. I can't get one right now. Maybe next Christmas. *sigh*

So my 5 year old was getting a hot link from the fridge and dropped half of it and the dog ate it. So he was upset, and I said I was sorry, and he screamed "I don't like you because you are the one that got this dog and I hate him!" Never mind we had the dog before the child.

He's now been sent upstairs to think. Although he says he won't think.

My husband just took Molly fishing with her new princess fishing pole, and it's almost naptime for the little one. If things go according to plan, I am about to have a quiet hour or two to myself.

Hi.

It's nap time and everyone is taking a nap in my household (well, I guess except me for the moment).

So, those of you who have met me IRL know that when I'm in a group of any kind I tend to be quiet. Mostly it's because I have some hearing problems and have a really hard time hearing if I'm not looking directly at you to see your facial expressions and lips moving too. When you add in interruptions from other areas, I really have a hard time.

So picture if you will, three people talking at me at once, combined with my kids having a competition to see who can play their music the loudest on their new CD players. Needless to say, I kinda stopped contributing to the conversation....I also got a big fat whopping

My mom I love dearly, but she can make me nuts. If you're having a conversation, she pops into the conversation with some totally non-related topic. Then she expects the conversation to turn on a dime to her topic, whether you were done or you were mid-sentence when she interrupted you. I think she's ADHD....except the HD would imply that she actually does things....she's good at directing you to do things, but I haven't seen the woman get her own drink in years.

OK...I feel better. I'm sorry if I'm whining...mom brings out the 12 year old in me.

I told dh I wanted to stay home this weekend and he got mad, so I got mad, and when I'm mad I either cry or clean. So I cleaned. Then as part of the cleaning, I decided to put together Thing 2's Spiderman tower. UGH! The thing makes no sense! Now I have a migraine. A nap might be good here.

Bomb, a hotlink is a spicy sausage. You can eat it like a hotdog or by itself.

Well, I am now kidless......for about 30 minutes. They I have to pick DD11 up from her friends. I guess no sleep for me today either.
