You know, that's really true. A certain someone was determined to sour my mood today (maybe not on purpose, but was in a mood himself, which tends to color my mood) and I decided that I was not going to take the bait and be brought down. I have to go make dinner. We're having buffalo chicken salad. I told ds I'd take him shopping after dinner so he can finish up a few things he needs to do for Christmas, and I don't really want to go. Maybe I can get dh to take him.

Okay, going to cook...um, chop... ummm cook and chop and sauce and toss.

I'm home. My MIL got tons of ice last night. That combined with old growth trees and 50mph wind gust equaled no power. We froze our butts off around the fireplace until the ice melted enough for us to get the heck out of Pennsylvania and come back here.

I forgot to mention last night...Bomb, Phors, Tig, Snowy, Jenny and Aimee are in my book...y'all are famous!

I sent my packages out Friday around lunchtime via priority mail, so it's possible they could be there tomorrow. I have tracking #'s.

I was just sitting here complaining to myself about it being chilly. It's 66 degrees. It is actually going to be in the 50's tomorrow, though... MAJOR cold front!
