How was work today, 4's?

I hope we get some snow this weekend. Not a lot, but a few inches would be nice. We have a holiday party weekend, so I don't really want that messed up.

Work was ok. I was still pretty steamed though and everyone new it. LOL
I did talk to one girl about it and she apologized because she said she does see how much I do and how it does make sense the way it gets done. I didn't eat lunch and just started getting busy cleaning. Well that was a huge mistake because I found out they don't clean too well. All the stuff I found, Yuck! They aren't very thoughough. My boss said that since everyone wasn't in today we'll do the meeting another day. Whatever.

Did you all see this thread? http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1660390 :sad2:

I don't want snow this weekend. The kids are traveling up and I don't want them delayed!

Hey 4's. You work in a high school? that has minimal security? hmmm.... I don't know what that is like anymore. Our high schools have police officers on duty 24/7. :sad2:

I guess I forget how bad the Philly area really is, it seems so normal to us now.
And I would mention your concerns to your boss.

We have a resource officer (cop) who is there all the time but that's it. Our district is very laid back. No metal detectors, people in and out all the time, heck we even serve peanuts in the lunchroom! One nice thing about hick NH towns I guess.

I did see your other thread, 4's. It's hard not to be a little scared in a situation like that after hearing about cases of crazy people going into a work place. Odds are nothing will happen, but it wouldn't hurt to discuss it with someone. The school should have a plan in place. Does she know for sure it was him trashing her place? If so I hope the police can prove it and he can be arrested.

Ok, now snow this weekend here. Geez, when does it work with everyone's schedules. Jake's birthday is the 19th and I have a neuro appt on the 20th, so not those days. And I rescheduled my PT appt for Tuesday, so not that day. Not the 21st because we're letting Zach and Ben take the day off from school and Alyssa is bringing them skiing, assuming the conditions are ok. How about Christmas Day? Alyssa's birthday is Christmas Eve, so not that day.

I have to get my exchange presents wrapped and mailed. Maybe this headache will stay away and I can get them ready tonight.

:lmao: I was just talking to my DD9. We are excited because this year for her Holiday party, we can make chocolate covered pretzels!! There are no peanut allergies in her class. My DH was calling us crazy.

We are soooo moving to your hick town, we would get snow AND peanuts!!!:cool1:

Good afternoon all :grouphug:

Was just at the ch. There is something there you should all see.

The little darlin's stole my candy! My secret santa here at work gave me a tin of bite size snickers and baby ruths and I had it behind my desk. It was closed even. One of them must've seen me in it at some point, because after school I opened it andit was cleaned out!

Lil' pipsqueaks.

I'm sorry, but :rotfl2:

Quick! I need some Icky chores for DD12 to do. She has already cleaned the bathrooms--she is finishing up on mine. She left her interim report card at school yesterday along with a test she got an F on . She was told to bring it home today "or else". Well this is the " or else". I need to make sure there is no way she will "forget" them tomorrow.

I need chore suggestions, but a 12 year old has to be able to do them. The harder/icker the better. And she can't go outside, it is pitch black out there.

It's freezing rain here. Has been most of the day. Yuck. Had to cancel my head shrinker appt. for today. I can just imagine what it would have been like trying to get home from NYC at around 4pm :scared:

Paige you should give a lesson tomorrow on the places people lose their hands for stealing!

Icky chores after bathrooms. Hmmm. Did she have to reach in the drains and pull the hair out too? :scared: What about the fridge. icky leftovers in there?

Ok....that's just not playing nice.:rotfl2:

look at the weather map, a little rain, but it has been warm down here, and I am too playing nice!

I had DD11 clean the grout with a toothbrush before. :teeth:

I just asked my kids...having to clean the other one's rooms was top on the list of most horrible chores.

Emptying the bottom drawers in the fridge and cleaning them out. (we have a new fridge~ it's still clean, I don't know where that one came from:confused3 )

My sister suggested hand washing their own socks and underware:lmao:
