Sorry Bomb, but those fuzzy crocs just look so warm and comfy!

I was doing some shopping at online at Disney and getting some great deals! Too many I think! I really want the luggage so I guess it'll be a Christmas present to me (among some other items). :rolleyes1

I wish Ty had a clear cut Disney favorite something because I am s stuck on getting anything for him. Aaron is easy since he's a Nightmare fanatic. Finding all kids of things for him but I'm done with him already.

I agree, they do look warm and comfy. And like crocs.;) Seriously, I want to wear my shoes. Whose idea was it to move to a place where I wouldn't be able to wear my shoes?

Bomb, my kids take after their dad--they are morning people :headache: They are always up between about 6:30 and 7:15 on their own--7 days a week. If they sleep past that I worry! Sucks for me because I am a total night owl and hate to get up before 8am. Actually I hate to get up before noon!

But they actually learned to adapt from a very young age. Both of them really loved to have quiet play time in their cribs. DH would take them a bottle and change them before he left for work (when they were a bit older) and they had lots of toys and books and they loved to play in there. Often they wouldn't even want to get out if I did get up early to get them!

When they were older they would usually come in and snuggle with me in bed and watch cartoons or play with toys in my room. Now they get themselves breakfast. DD12 gets completely ready for school without me. I pretty much get up in time tod make sure she is dressed appropriately and took her meds and brushed her hair and kiss her good bye. Then DD7 gets dressed and we snuggle while she watches some TV. Usually I either DIS or nap on the couch next to her. They are both really self sufficient in the mornings, which is really a good thing.

Just a drive by posting. Taking the little one to school then off for my long run. Hope you all have a fabulously snarky Tuesday.

Is anyone interested in the Photopass Disk from the Meet? We might have at least 3 people interested at this point. If we could get 2-3 more then that would really save everyone some money.

That's amazing. Mine wouldn't be caught dead in a crib, they looked on it as a torture device. They had to be dead asleep to be put in it, andif they woke up in it, it was "get me out of here NOW". :rotfl: And play quietly? And by themselves?  And mommy sleep until noon?   Yeah, okay. Must be the difference between boys and girls. I remember the questions from new moms or pregnant women "When did your baby sleep through the night?" And up until my second child (when the first was seven years old), my response was: "He still doesn't!" Of course, he does have ADHD, and hyperactive children are notorious nonsleepers. We could fight the child down to sleep for hours until he finally drifted off at midnight, only to pop up at 4 am at our bedside asking "is it morning yet? Can I get up and play?" :upsidedow JUST this year he has started sleeping like a human.

Good morning all! Migraine gone! And TODAY I will take my shopping half day! :cool1:

Morning!

Can someone answer this for me? Why the heck do I get dragged into every project at work? I am working on a marketing assignment now. :confused3 And the very worst thing is this involves MEETINGS. :scared1: One yesterday and another today. I HATE meetings.

:scared1: AAAAAAAAA
:scared1: AAAAAAAAAAAAA

Yes, but my Grandma had my mother when she was 20 (my mother was her 3rd kid!!!) and my mother had me a few weeks before turning 19. It's cool because my mom and Grandma are still young (turning 50 and 70 respectively in the next 2 months) but it's hard to have kids that young!

 :scared1:  :scared1:  :scared1:  :faint: :faint:

Robin, congrats Auntie!!! He's adorable!:wizard:

Meetings are often a good place to give more work, while taking up time so you don't get your existing work done. Great use of time, huh? ;)

Yep! Last I checked I am the CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR. Funny thing though, I have a project out to bid that I have our secretary being the point "woman" because I don't have time to deal. I drew up all the paperwork and she just needs to email it to interested parties, but still. I have a tenant that just filed for bankruptcy, which is always lots of fun especially when you want to evict them. I am trying to clear up tax problems with the property appraisers office. I am updating files for the FAA. But ohhhh no this all needs to go on the backburner cuz my boss wants a WOW airline presentation, is potentially hiring a new marketing company, but wants ME to give input on design, copy and stuff (damn PR degree). Anyway, I feel better now thanks. Maybe I should get to work and get off of the DIS. :rotfl2:

My life is meetings...one after another. If I'm on during the day, I don't have meetings. Most days I am back to back from 8-5 meeting after meeting.:sad2:

I just blew my eyes! Well, eye. I was blowing my nose, and my tear duct suddenly also "blew" out liquid. I have never had that happen. How strange.
