Why is it that every time I kill a fly there are 2 new ones in this house?

Also, is it too much to ask that we have hot water in the bathrooms and radiators? My Landlady was here (OMG my/her house is such a hole!) and her husband called someone, they are supposed to be here...oh, and I get to do all this in French. Um...yeah.

I can't pee yet, I have nothing to pee on. Guess I need a Target run. And, DH isn't flying now, unless you want to count the desk he is flying at the Pentagon. I had 3 boys while he was flying...

I have to be awake this morning. I am reading to DD's class at 9:15. And Paige said I have to use voices.

Spending the rest of the day with a friend, but we can't decide what to do. We are both doing the "what do you want to do?" "I don't care, what do you want to do?"

I will need it longer than that Jess, DH is still sleeping. He had to work last night and didn't get home until 5am.

This whole trip thing is bugging me. I really really want to go but for some reason I just can't come right out and talk to DH about it. I've dropped hints and made references hoping he would pick up the hint and talk to me about it. I don't know why I'm afraid to talk to him about it. Maybe because I know that the timing is bad and it puts me in an awkward position of even how to get there. Flying is the obvious way but I'm afraid although I'm determined to face my fears, just not alone. I could take the train but would I be bored and lonely by myself? I'm so conflicted, but I so want to go.

I need some of those little cups like that. Last time I made jello shots I used the plastic Dixie cups (bathroom size), and I think I filled them too full, because they were some BIG shots. They were trip-your-gag-reflex big.

Morning, everyone! I sent DS off to school today, and the girls are still sleeping after being up late due to feeling icky. No barfing with them, just an apparent cold or something. Molly hates when her nose is stuffy. She says it's broken, and she bops it repeatedly with the palm of her hand trying to "fix" it.

4's what can we do to help? You want me to call and "discuss" it with you when he's within ear shot so that you have to talk to him about it? Maybe you could show him one of the threads with the list of people going and tell him how much you wish you were going. Or you could always just blurt it out - "A bunch of people are going, and I want to go too."

I know it's hard to work up the nerve to just tell him about it, because I'm the same way sometimes.

Oh, oh, I know... pretend like he's an annoying male poster on the DIS (you know the one I mean) who you have NO problem speaking your mind to!

Seriously, though, if any of us can help, please say so. We really want you there.

Well, I don't have a lot of advice on this because I don't have a problem flying. I wouldn't be able to have a problem flying I guess.
I did, however, take the train from St Louis to North Dakota last summer after I drove my car there and dropped it off (no, it's still not here). I was on the train for 28? hours and it sucked, but I was not bored. Lots of people to talk to, I read books and listened to my ipod.

4s, hints do not work with men. You have to hit them over the head with facts! Also, get a prescription to take your edge off when flying. I HATE flying but I consider it an evil necessity if I ever want to get anywhere cool and not have it take FOREVER.

Maybe the phone call thing would work or perhaps somebody could send me an email about it begging and pleading for me to go and I could leave it open on my laptop. : I want him to bring it up, it'll be easier that way. Although I just need to grow up, be an adult and just talk to him. I don't know why I get intimidated about it. He's a fabulous loving husband and I have no reason to be worried. I wonder why I feel that way.

DH and I are taking the train down on our trip after Thanksgiving. I think it will be nice because I love car trips and watching life go by me so I think a train would be cool. We do intend to fly home though so that will be a big test for me. I just don't know how cool it will be by my onesie.
