Well, like I told Shug, I can never stay the whole time if we go during any off season because of the nature of my career. But I will make a 5 day weekend happen, AS LONG AS you all do not make it near any holiday......not near any bank closing time. If the kids are off, I can not take off the day before or after, it is a major rule. That would mess me up big time then, as usually the holidays include a weekend. So no Presidents' weekend, MLK day, etc. Halloween doesn't count, nothing closes for that.

On the other hand, if anyone wanted to go in the awful horrible summer, I could stay for a very long time. And we do have GACs and ECVs, so lines are a nonissue.

I know I could not be gone on Halloween, I think my DD would be upset with me.

I know everyone has different schedules, etc. . .In my situation, I can 99.98% get time off, but we turn everything by the First friday in March. As long as I tell them I am going somewhere not usually a problem, unless if someone with a tad but seniority gets in the way. But if someone has something booked, we usually work around it.

And yes part of the reason why I bought DVC

I will be going in June and so is Popstar. June is not too bad. The heat really is bad in July/Aug. I will have my DD with me then.

It does not matter when, but I think a lot of us would like the Food and Wine Festival for the occasion
