I put together a basket for Angel with the extra money from the flowers and took some pics, and I wanted to post it so everyone can see it that's not here, but I don't want Angel to see it before we give it to her. Tonight at ESPN, we're giving Angel a gift basket that was made with leftover money from the original collection for flowers after her aneurysm stuff (such technical terms, I know
). The basket contains a bottle of Stoli vodka, OJ, two highball glasses, a shot pourer and some various munchies including crackers and tapenade, onion stuffed olives, chocolate cookies, mixed nuts, a chocolate orange and altoids.
There is also a stuffed bear with a little frame and a message about how much we love Angel. It says:
Friends are the family we choose for ourselves. We're so glad you're a part of ours. We love you, Angel! The PMSers.
Attached to the bow you'll see a tiny little package that says "A special friend for Andy." It's a little rubber brain (see pics below). Yeah, we're some sick people.
Anyway, I just wanted you all to see where your love and money went. We're all missing everyone who's not here. We'll have a toast for you all.
