Maybe it depends on where you go to. I know that she had contacted someone about it and they informed her that they would send back the body. She didn't want to have to deal with "losing" her grandmother twice so she just had her cremated which was something her grandmother had also said she wanted done.

My mom's parents both donated their bodies and then were cremated. At one point this is what my Mom wanted too, we need to find out if she still wants that and if she wants her ashes buried in Pennsylvania with them.

Caro, you and your family are doing one of the hardest things in the world to do which is letting go of a loved one. I also believe it to be one of the most unselfish things that a person can do too.

She may fool everyone and pull through this and get to spend a little more time here with you all. If not, you will know that she left you as she wanted to. Off the vent, with her family near. I'm praying really hard for her and all of you.

When I was reading about it for Bruce they said they send the ashes back to the families. He doesn't want a service of any kind anyway so I guess that's ok.

Caro? What disability was your mom born with?

Her left arm and right leg are about 6 inches shorter than her other ones. The hand and foot are also deformed having only 3 fingers and toes. (I just had to ask my sister who many she has and we had to look! ) When she was born there wasn't as much difference. It's just something I've grown up with, so I'm used to it. Alana and Kathryn are too.

Just for th record, my undies are light blue today and bra is chocolate brown.

Robin, they moved him to Fl. Hosp. South... the one down town.

He goes in for surgery in the morning. The doc at the new hosptial took a look in there and found something, he's not sure if it's a tendon or ligament, or which one, severed, and some bone fragments, so the blade went down to bone.

It makes me shudder to think about it. He's getting some nice pain meds though. I finally left him to sleep. He's in a temporary bed until they can find him a place in the ortho wing.

I'm exhausted.
