You're going to IKEA without me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have an Ikea here if you want to visit!

That's fine with me, Lara, as I plan to be at AK that morning riding and reriding Everest! :cool1: And no, I do NOT plan to have a hangover. ;)

I have ridden with a hangover. In fact, that's the only time I've ever ridden.

I can hold my liquor just fine. It's holding myself upright after a few that's the hard part.

:rotfl: :rotfl:

I went to Target today. I didn't get to thoroughly enjoy it though because I got light headed and thought I was going to pass out. :scared1: I should have ate my lunch before I went. :headache: I bought garbage bags and a belt. :confused3

On an aside, garbage bags here are about half the size. You MUST buy this certain kind to have your 'garbage' in. They are 9.5 Euros for 20. Yeah, that's about $13. The not having a garbage disposal is the hardest part. I need to research compost...

Hi...eating lunch popcorn:: and getting caught up.

Pixie and Aime, maybe we can do Ikea in College Park on the 3rd? We could pretend it was Disney? OK, not the same thing...so maybe we should call them really early in the morning on the 4th to make sure they're ok.....maybe sing the "wake up" song....here are the lyrics, you can start studying them....

Way up in the sky
The big birdies fly
While down in the nest
The little birds rest
shhhhhh....

DON'T WAKE UP THE BIRDIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bright sun comes up
The dew goes a-way
GOOD MORNING
GOOD MORNING

The little birds say

Gooooood mooooorrrrnnnning!

Hmmm, I wonder if we can get a recording of ::MickeyMo saying BITE ME! to use to respond to that. . . :scratchin

Take me, Take me!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:
You're in! We'll let the hangovery people meet us later. :rotfl:

I am outta here. Have to go run an errand and then enjoy my last night of peace and quiet before the DM comes home from Cape Cod tomorrow. See you all tomorrow.

Ooooh...I'm memorizing the words as we speak....I think I may even do a sober dial and annoy them by talking coherently.;)

And Lara..I do think those that have been left behind should have some fun as well.:snooty:

Hey, I was at Target too today. Ironically I was with my DH! :lmao: All we got were some shoe inserts, a pill box, hot dogs, buns and a consumer reports. How exciting.
But then we went to Circuit city and bought a new camera. :woohoo: Now I'll have one for the trip!

So I have neve been to an Ikea. I feel like I am missing something.

Think of it like Hotel California. You can check in anytime you like but you can never leave. Seriously, they have it set up like a maze! :rotfl: They do put arrows on the floor for you though.

ETA: Off for dinner

Ooh, Lara, Ikea may be just the ticket!

Okay, my son's soccer coach just called and she wants him to sign up for travel soccer. That bad boy costs $1200/year! Ouch. I just spent that much on swimming for the two oldest. These last two weeks I feel like I am bleeding money.

I know how you feel. We just got info on Zach's baseball for one of the teams he's on (both new teams to him this season, but he knows quite a few people on this team). Next summer they are going to Cooperstown AND Myrtle Beach and the estimated cost (I think through the summer) is $2000. Yikes! Paige, want to meet me at Myrtle Beach again? ;) I'm thinking he won't really even want to play on this team since he doesn't seem that happy with them (the team seems to lack some discipline).

EXACTLY the same for me to MM!!:thumbsup2 Looks small and fine on my main computer but is HUGE and cut off on my laptop. No idea why.

Oh thank goodness! I thought I was losing my mind there for a bit and even decided I was bringing my laptop over to POP to show you all!

Holy crap, you people can talk.

Yup! We'll have a much better time than he and I would, now we just have to figure out what we're doing...maybe we can stop by the Poly when Conc is working and create a scene...then someone can talk about us on the Dis.
Oh yes! :yay:
Caro just called me and wanted me to post that her mom made it through surgery, however will be on a respirator overnight. The plan to take her off of it tomorrow, but she seems to have maybe given up--her mom's spirits are real down. She can use all of our good wishes and prayers.

 Caro
Caro
That would be fantastic!

I used to hate early release, but I've gotten used to it, I suppose. It's nice when I have something I want to do with the kids in the afternoon. This afternoon we're going to poke around Fort Wilderness for a while and take the kids to the petting zoo if it's not raining.
Fort Wilderness is my favorite place in the whole wide Disney World.
I was reading a book downstairs and dh was watching TV in our room and Thing 1 came in to say something. Dh says "What do YOU want?" Not nicely at all. I told him not to be so cranky. He said "Well he doesn't have anything to say, he just comes in to bug me." I said, "He just wants to see us."

Poor Thing 1 had just said "Sorry" and walked out with his head down.

I can't stand that stuff. I can't watch it anymore, I can't deal with it. It's so not right.

He says I want to take his kids away from him. But he's constantly saying he can't handle them, they drive him crazy, they bug him, and then he is like that to them. I don't like it. They can't even talk to him about anything without him interrupting to make comments that are making fun of how they say something or just little jibes, so he never gets to hear anything they think about or experience. He won't ever listen to me and stop it.

I'm complaining again. Oh well, just don't read it.
Paigey

Yikes. :rotfl2: And I need to call her to get the expiration dates of the kids' passports. Hold me.

Paige  !

Is it "normal" for someone that thinks they are going to die to push thier loved ones away? Not saying it is right of course, what he is going it just down right sad. :sad1: Has he had any counseling at all over his health issues?
Yes. It is. We had to deal with it when my Dad had cancer. In some sort of twisted way, they think that they are helping others deal with it. I guess if you are pissed at them, you won't miss them as much when they are gone:confused3
