Evening all. Back from Jersey. I don't like the way DH's grandmother looks, but apparently she looks better than she did a few days ago, so I guess that's a good thing. She's in a lot of pain from her back, and they're probably going to be doing a procedure on Monday where they inject her with a glue to cement the bones in her back together. I don't know much about it. Then they're talking about rehab and maybe a nursing home depending on how she does in rehab. I guess they're going to take it one day at a time.

Meanwhile, they're going to start cleaning out her house, get it appraised, etc. It breaks my heart that they're going to sell it - it's a Sears home (Sears used to sell modular homes that you could buy the pieces and put it together yourself) and grandma and grandpa built it from the ground up. It's a beautiful house - basically two of the modular units put together.

Anyway, sorry to digress. Keep her in your prayers, if you wouldn't mind.

Hello...had fun at Bingo even though my thoughts were with Paige. Ron and Zach each won a game. Ron won $50 and Zach a $20 gift certificate to a local Chinese restaurant (and he's been craving Chinese food, so he's very happy ). Of course we spent plenty to get in and to buy snacks, but it was still a good night.

Nutty I hope she continues to improve.

Someone tell me that anything worth having is worth fighting for. And that life is full of hard choices. And stuff like that.

Oh baby, you have so much fight in you. And I'm with you every step of the way.
