That's a shame, LB. I hope it all works out for you. I loved my empty nest. I miss it. :sad1:

I hope everything works out LB..that's really tough.

LB....that bites. Maybe a new room mate isn't as bad as it sounds. Did she make any friends last year that she would like to room with that could switch?

Off to clean my bathroom. Fun wow huh?! :rotfl: Just haven't wanted to be in there scrubbing the last few days. It has been too hot and there is no window.

Thanks, guys. It's far from the end of the world, just a temporary pain while we figure it out (and probably a longer term pain if we don't get our empty nest back :rotfl:

The trouble is that it's so close to the start of school that everybody's already got their arrangements made, and all her friends have roommates already. Of course, the university would assign her a roommate if we decided to go that way, but she seems pretty adamant so far that she'd rather stay home, and I don't think we would force her into the dorm against her will, since she really could live at home.

There are a couple of girls though that are interested in sharing an apartment with her, so that really might work out.

Oh, and I forgot my favorite thing from this process so far. When she told me about these girls who are interested in sharing an apartment with her (who I don't personally know), she said that they're not party girls, that they are "serious" and they "just want a quiet life".

Just like all late teen/early 20somethings, right? :lmao:

 I shared a duplex with 3 other girls in college. Our 4 boyfriends lived in the duplex next to us. :rolleyes1 We were very quiet and studious.

I think I'm getting 'Dis Elbow'. You know, like tennis elbow but caused from DISing too much. I'm not kidding either. Darn thing hurts.

Well of course you were, Fuzzy. :rolleyes1

Aw, Teva  And here's another for your no-longer-empty nest

Snowy...I don't care what the others say.....YOU are truly the nicest one.
