back from dinner, but I have to put the kids to bed. I had steak and parmesean shrimp with asparagus and loaded mashed potatoes. I'm ready to vomit. Hopefully it will digest so that I can have some fudge tracks icecream later.

How was your vacation?

We had a really great time. Except when DH was being a putz. Other than that, it was very restful and relaxing, and MUCH needed! And the best part is I still have until Tuesday off!

It's dessert salad for me from now on. Now I just have to figure out what dessert salad is.

It's romaine lettuce shredded with almonds, mandarin oranges, and toasted coconut in it.

ETA: I re-thought that. It might just be fruit salad.


Hi all. I've been out running around all day, getting b-day stuff for Molly and grocery shopping and so on and so forth. We're having a BBQ at my mom's house tomorrow, and I'm making pasta salad and burgers (the good ones with the cheddar jalapeno poppers in the middle and guac on top). So anyway, I've been busy, and now I'm pooped.

I'm going to put the girls to bed now and have a drink.

Everyone please yell at me and tell me to go back on my diet on Monday please. I have been off this week cause of the stress and lack of time to plan or even cook decent meals. I sure could use some ice cream.

DD did have a field trip to Cold Stone on Thursday. It was great. If you need to find an outing for kids call and see if your local store does them. They let the kids mix up their own ice cream in addition to showing them how everything is made. It was a lot of fun. And they have a No Fat, No Sugar ice cream--I had that with banans and pecans, the first ice cream I have had all summer and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!

I have 5 here, we are on the way. . I just got the updated call I actually only need about 60 now. No problem. 200 people coming and I have 140 chairs.

Is it a sit down? Can you put some high tables up for people to perch without chairs? How about picnic benches? You can make those with cinder blocks and planks of wood....

I can come up with 13, the problem would be getting them to you by tomorow. Even if I loaded up my truck right now and stopped only for gas, I don't think I'd make it.
