OMG I am rethinking not bringing my son's ADHD meds...........he is driving me BATTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Besides not sleeping, which didn't really bother me, but did his father, as he wanted to sleep in a bit, and I wanted a little morning time..............he is nonstop with the talking, talking, talking, talking, talking. The activity level isn't bothering me. It's the talking, talking, talking, talking, talking,.................and it's all questions, questions, questions...........questions like how they make the butter from the peanuts for peanut butter, how could you draw a scene from the 10th floor and keep it in perspective, how many miles is it to our final destination, is it possible that the building could collapse and is there an emergency contingency plan in place for that, why do deaf people make so much noise? (there's a deaf convention here), how many diamonds do I estimate there are in the carpeting here?, how long do I think it will take the sun to heat the water from last night's rain enough for it to evaporate fully?, what about that big puddle over there?

Paige, Jake sounds just like your son with the questions. Obviously Jake is younger, so his questions are more the variety that you'd hear from your classroom kids, but they can be non-stop. They drive me nuts!!! I'm all for questions, don't get me wrong, but every waking moment? OK, he is quiet sometimes, but when he's at there's only a certain number of them that I can take before I have to cut him off for my own sanity (no comments ).
