Well, we were at lunch and SOMEONE (not me) thought it would be funny to take Vero's fudge bar. Vero was not amused and had to ask for it back 3 times. How juvenile is that? :confused3

Then SOMEONE walked in looking for a particular teacher. We answered that she wasn't there and that it wasn't quite time yet. She asked again if it wasn't her time. I said again, no she isn't here yet. She said, "I can SEE she isn't here." I said, "YOU'RE the one that asked TWICE." :rolleyes2

You're probably right, Auntie. Or else he won't gain any maturity, and that will likewise be his punishment. Either way, it diminishes him much more than it does her.

LB - I was just sitting here thinking of something that my DS said once to a kid that was making fun of him. I guess he was in 3rd or 4th grade at the time. The conversation went like this:

Mean Kid: blah blah something... fatso.
DS: (shaking his head) I'm so sorry
MK: What are you sorry for?
DS: Well, God made me fat, but that's not as bad as the fact that He mad YOU stupid.

After we're done with the insulting little college richard head, can we take on some of the people on the weight loss surgery thread? I swear, every time the subject comes up, people come out of the woodwork with horror stories about their mom's cousin's best friend's uncle's sister in law who died after having the surgery. Never mind that she had myriad weight related health problems that were likely the cause of the complications :rolleyes2

Or even better, their neighbor's daughter's friend had it and gained back all the weight and then some :scared1:

Excuse me but there's a 75% success rate for weight loss surgery and it's 100% linked to the patient's motivation. If she gained it back, it's her own damn fault :sad2:
